Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 11: Juggernaut Juggernaut never shows up, despite Disney owning Marvel. Bah. Turbo Tank-jacking and playing chicken and lots of dumb action. The Empire gets like 20+ people killed trying stop the Bad Batch after they steal a turbo tank. Oh, the plot is still trying to find how to get to Tantiss so they can rescue precious precocious Omega...again. This time by freeing an Imperial jerkass from a prison camp. Wanda Sykes' character appears, so...blech (puke) 6/10

X-Men ’97 Episode 6 Lifedeath – Part 2 Prof X is alive. We knew that, right? I know he left in the comics to be with Lillandra, but wasn't sure about the sheow. I thought Deathbird was a mutant of her own species, she was a throwback who had wings? So when the Shi'ar call Xavier a subhuman or something...look at your white eyed, wing princess of power over there. Prof. X's voice takes a bit of getting used to. Ross Marquand is trying to hit the inflections of the 90's actor at least, but still sounds too young. Prof X is too nice. He should've reduced Deathbird's mind to a drooling vegetable. I guess that wouldn't have endeared him to the Shi'ar, either. How does Storm getting her powers back also make her hair grow out and create a new costume? Did homegirl gain some new powers?

The X-Men episode was fairly simple theme for ProfX/Storm: Remembering who you are. I liked the Storm stuff better simply because Demon stuff is more visually interesting than lackluster scifi stuff.

Saw that Flash movie. Best part was Michael Keaton's role as Batman.
And the 89' Batmobile.
I much preferred the TV show Flash and cast. Too bad they didn't use them.

Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 13: Into the Breach - now we move onto generically titled episodes. Another infiltrate an Imperial facility thing. Weaselly former vice admiral Rampart aiding them to *yawn* find out how to get to Tantissssszzzzz.
5 out of 10.
Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 14: Flash Strike - Even more meaningless title. Implies some military action, instead the Bad Batch shot down on Tantiss and on the run in the jungle, where, YES, a large monster appears. BUT BONUS, Omega, expert on prisoner escapes from watching Escape from Alcatraz, crawls through corridors and spies the captive Zillo Beast(tm).
6 out of 10.

Man, Lost, the thing that show had going for it, characters and the lovely locale no matter how silly the lore itself got.

X-Men 97 SPOILERS of course
So, we have the fallout proper to the destruction of Genosha. We see even Beast becoming disillusioned by ProfX's dream. There's a nice globetrotting aspect to this episode as Rogue is searching for answers. She goes to a military base in the desert, then a safe house in Mexico. Bottom line, its Bastion who's behind everything, working with Sinister (he's promised Sinister something in exchange for help with his Sentinel prime program). He also knows ProfX is alive and probably drop that on the public to destroy a key point of sympathy the X-Men got at the top of the season. He also has Mags prisoner and does a conditioning tactic of shaving him so you have to be still or get sliced (listen and obey). Amazing episode. This is the X-Men adaption I've always wanted. 4/4
(I'd mention in the comics, if I am recalling correctly, the 'mutant problem' from Bastion's pov also spills over into the humans are a problem too as both mutants and humans can have mutant off springs)

We are reminded they are part of the Marvel Universe. But who will recover Cap's shield?
"No, Rogue, don't drop Trask..." Umm...Jean, you have telekinesis. Stop the drop.
Since when does Morph have the powers of people he imitates? How can he be as fast as Quicksilver?
I don't know Bastion. That reveal was lost on me.

SPOILERS:
There's a bit of a purple to his skin. He is Nimrod and Master Mold combined. It will be a slightly different than from the comics because some aspects are not present in the cartoon (Siege Perilous merged them). OZT is Operation: Zero Tolerance and things are going to get insane in the last three episodes me thinks remembering what went down in the comics.

"No, Rogue, don't drop Trask..." Umm...Jean, you have telekinesis. Stop the drop. Jean reminds me of my ex. She was tired all of the time. Using her powers makes her seem to always need a nap. So, other than flying...if she has to do almost anything else, it's sleepy time.

X-Men ’97 Episode 8 Tolerance Is Extinction – Part 1 Things escalate quickly. This show almost needs more padding, but it's not as bad as MOTU Revolution. Nitpick again: Morph changing into Juggernaut. He can imitate the muscle mass, sure...I guess. But Juggernaut's super strength beyond that mass comes from the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, that was true of this X-Men cartoon, IIRC. Other media made him a mutant. So the UN lady was in on this with Sinister and Bastion? I guess. It's a little vague. Like she was but didn't know about Genosha. Cameo heavy, and Baron Zemo and Dr Doom (Not named Doom in the credits) speak. Okay, would Cable know what a Porsche is? Do they have those in his future? or did he spend enough time in the past to learn about things like that? Jubilee gets a new catsuit. But still cannot fly. Wolverine suddenly slicing through machine possessed civilians! And Night Crawler joining in. Good lawd! I mean, oh, my stars and garters!
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 15 The Cavalry Has Arrived As an double episode ending to the series, it was fine. I mean, nothing too unpredictable happens. Zillo beast still sucks. LOL. I think Filoni is a GI JOE comic fan, the Kaminoan scientist woman drops an active thermal detonator after being shot by the weaselly Rampart, killing him.
Tarkin shows up after good guys wreck research base and blah-blah, shut this place down and fund Project Stardust (Death Star), because gotta mention that even if it makes no sense for him to mention funding to some random junior officer assessing the damage. What is she, the Emperor's accountant?
post happy ending with future adult Omega leaving to join the Rebellion was maybe too gratuitously heartwarming...I'd have left it open ended. 7/10

Nice to see Summer family bonding. Nightcrawler is the ultimate voice of empathy and kindness with his advice.
Val cooper the "UN Lady" a long time X-character. I knew her reading X-Factor during the period where X-Factor was a government sponsored team. She sometimes is aware of shady stuff, but isn't a villain outright. She's compromised because the government is always up to no good, but she usually tries to do the right thing. Magneto EMP'ing the world is out of Fatal Attractions. It is possible ProfX might have to do what he did in that crossover if Mags won't stand down once Bastion is dealt with, mind wiping him.
I enjoy how flippant Bastion is with his villainy. They simplified his origin as the Siege Perilous is not apart of the animated lore. You do see his mother wearing it in locket form as an easter egg. The scenes of him as a kid are basically one to one recreations of young Clark in Man of Steel.

X-Men ’97 Episode 9 Tolerance Is Extinction – Part 2 Oh, boy, real end of world stuff, but wheres all the other Marvel heroes at? Cap? Spidey? Fantastic Four? Sunspot sides with the guy who wants all life on earth dead. I mean, being pissed off at this parents is one thing, but what did the animal and plant life do to you, chico? Life on a barren asteroid sounds great, Magneto. What are you going to eat? Space fungus? Nice Wolverine Mutant Cycle cameo! Everyone change costumes! Except Beast. No time to recruit more allies. Any mutants would just side with Mags anyway. Wait, is Mags just going to have Sunspot and Rogue on the 'roid and everyone else will be dead? Easy fix to the problem. Morph and change into Magneto and undo it. I mean, he can turn into Quick Silver, Juggernaut and Hulk...or just look like the Hulk...if he had Hulk's strength Bastion would be a crumpled mass of broken flesh. Great going, Cyclops...now Wolverine is demetalized. As if he didn't hate you enough. Also, Xavier, you don't need to get your team to get Magnus' helmet off. You can control Rogue and use her to his helmet off. Forget her feelings, she sided against all life on Earth.

Civil War A buddy told me to watch it, and I found a good place to see it. Typical woke agenda propaganda. Reporters go to DC which is a war zone in this film, and see the sights on the way. We get long boring shots, and then some brief action or tense encounter. Concludes where The World Economic Forum are the good guys and kill the president, which is obviously supposed to be Trump.
I advise skipping this one.
