I dislike Seth Rogen too much at this point. I watched the Bad Batch season 2 episodes I hadn't seen. Minor spoilers. Wanda Sykes voices a Star Wars character... a recurring one who apparently is straight, so so much for appropriate casting. There was episode where they find some rando ancient object thing a junkyard that leads to a remote desolate world, they reactivate an ancient death mech monster and I'm...why? It's a random adventure but isn't interesting but it fills another giant monster episode slot, I guess. One of the Bad Batch dies...maybe. This being Filoni's stuff, he can't let go half the time. Bad guys capture Omega, the precocious special girl clone. *Yawn* What a cliffhanger. Yes, this show does need to end next season.

So, I've been rewatching Walking Dead, in season 2... quick run down on characters, my impressions:
T-Dog: Useless bonehead, drops the key to the cuffs, then gets himself cut badly in the season 2 opener. No character arc so far beyond the moment he mentions to Dale maybe we just split.
Dale: Thin line between being the moral center of a group and being a busy body (regarding Andrea). He comes off controlling and annoying at times, but yes, right about Shane being a monster. Might not be a good idea to confront the guy directly lol.
Andrea: A bit annoying acting as a spoiled brat. Almost gets Darrel killed trying to be a big shot.
Glenn: Doesn't have much to do once the city stuff in season1 is over, I did chuckle when Daryl asks him what he did before all this, pizza delivery guy. He gets to do more once Maggie comes into the picture, of course, she lays it out eventually, hey, you are being under served by your group, you are intelligent and brave and offer more than just getting stuff.
Daryl - deals with himself by keeping busy, as seen by looking for Sophia non stop. He definitely has avoidance issues.
Carol - Slow burn storyline her becoming strong, its more believable than the Andrea stuff in how its being handled. The comics chose Sophia, the show chooses Carol. I can get tv wanting experienced actors and if you need a kid in a zombie show, easy to just add them to the group as needed.
Lori - No an easy role to play being between two men, but this time around I find her more sympathetic.
Shane - Being right is not always enough, he is right about many things, but his motives are rooted in selfishness. He is an excellent villain.
Rick - Basically a zombie world law and order old western lead type. He is a excellent lead.

I have a hard time watching any of the kids in this series.
I couldn't stand Andrea.
I liked Dale.
T-Dog, has about 10 different actors replace his role of doing nothing for the group before getting killed.
Shane and Lori deserve each other.
Interesting that the blue crystal meth from Breaking Bad is shown, and is rumored/theorized to be the cause of the zombie outbreak.

I stopped watching TWD in its last season for reasons. I partly know who survives based on the spin offs.
They had the chance to do something different with Fear the Walking Dead, but that show is a mess. I also quit watching it. The World Beyond maybe had the right idea, a limited 2 season story. But it was just okay at best.

Well, for the first time ever, I watched Waterworld last night (with a movie group I do movies with)... its definitely flawed, but there's some decent stuff in it too, I think its biggest thing going for it is in is sincere at every step.
2 1/2 stars out of 4 is pretty fair.

Amusing fantasy, bad science fiction of course.
The land at the end was supposed to be Mount Everest (may have been from a scene cut). There's not enough water on earth to make sea levels rise that high. Plus the altitude would still be same, meaning hard to freaking breathe! The story has some line about "something the ancients did" caused the water world. Um...unless that's somehow replicating quadrillion of gallons of water, I can't imagine what that would be. A weapon that somehow makes large land masses sink? Making an asteroid hit Earth? Still not enough water. A huge comet full of ice? Seems unlikely.

It's part of the global warming agenda scam.
Waterworld was one of the few action movies I got to see because my Grandma was hot for Kevin Costner.

My sis and I went and saw Flash.
Complete nostalgia bait.
They adapt Flashpoint (which has been done better in an animated movie and the Flash tv series).
Miller has very limited range, so alot of his scenes is he's socially awkward, ain't it funny. Too many scenes plays as bits with him. Not really like any Flash I remember reading.
Keaton Batman is really the only reason I wanted to see it... yeah, you get Keaton Batman. He was good.
The alt-version of Supergirl, she's actually very hot, not much of a performance, they are looking for Superman, but she's being held by Russians instead, Flash saves her anyway "Because you needed help." So, she in turn is like oh not everyone is a asshole on this planet, so I'll help too.
Comic lends itself in format to very convoluted and detail story telling and sometimes adaptions can't carry them over (The only good Dark Pheonix adaption is in the cartoon series). So all this time travel stuff, yeah, it is what it is. Think Flash works better as a supporting character. Nice to see the lovely Gal one last time as Wonder Woman.
I'd say its good-ish, like, if it were on tv I'd have no issue having it on... there's something always going on in it, so it can keep your attention. I'd say its sort of like Rise of Skywalker in that way. But the movie places plot over characters and the lead himself is limited... so maybe 2 1/2 stars out of 4, seems fair? So long Snyderverse.

Isn't AQUAMAN 2: AQUAMANIA the last Snyderverser movie...or is it Blue Beetle, something I hadn't even realized was made until 2 months ago.
Sounds like the animated Flashpoint movie Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox but without Thomas Wayne Batman, the Amazons vs the Atlanteans and...that's a lot of differences.
My older brother got Flash comics in the 80's, before his "tragic past" became a thing. I remember Flash dying in CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS.

Futurama season 11 (11 because they consider the 4 movies to be 2 seasons, I guess) Episode 1 'The Impossible Stream' - They immediately resolve the 2013 pseudo-cliffhanger from the Comedy Central run. Everything back to normal. Fry decides to stream every tv show ever, and does so in a still suit with VR goggles. There's jokes about being on HULU now and past cancellations and it's all mediocre, actually. They made in jokes about the show's history before and it's just wasting an episode at this point. 4/10
Episode 2 "Children of a Lesser Bog" - Kiff and Amy's tadpole kids finally mature enough to become land dwellers. This one has dark humor to it. Kiff's race just lets the weak get culled (otherwise Amy and Kiff would have over a dozen kids). There's a subplot about recreating some old candy Fry likes. It's an okay follow up, but lacks any outstanding jokes or bits. 6/10
Voice actors are fine, but Billy West's Zap Brannigan at times didn't seem as crisp as he once was. Guest stars are minimal, so we have Kiff's kids' voices using the stock actors. Meh.

whenever I watched Futurama, it was always on cartoon network, really late, at my friends house...and by that point I was always really high. I remember one episode where the lady that plays Peg on Married with Children, I forget her cartooon characters name...they wen't somewhere and a guest star AL from Married with Children made an appearance. Yeah, it's all a blur.

Futurama season 11
Episode 3: "How the West Was 1010001" - Silly old west episode with the usual nonsense reasons why it's like the old west. A bitcoin mining towning. It's decent, but Fry is required to be extra clueless and Leela flirt with another guy, who is a jerk. Just her type, really. Crazy robot Roberto appears and Robot Mafia shows up because the show only has so many recurring baddies. 5/10
Episode 4: "Parasites Regained" - Largely a DUNE parody and those are the good parts. The others are gross parasite jokes and Nibbler eats a guy's dog, and then his angry owner. Leela says "good boy" because she's down with murder now, I guess. This seems to be a trend, characters acting like a-holes just for gags. And I don't like it. Bender I expect it from, that's his schitck. And Zoidberg, a little, more from ignorance and hunger. But Leela used to be an ethical character. And Nibbler himself, a wise being...why would he? That's sort of explained but not really justified in the episode, because parasites are making Nibbler dumber. 4/10
Episode 5: "Related to Items You've Viewed" - Another topical one. It's starts off with Leela moving in with Fry and Bender and Bender getting jealous. Then it shifts gears to the Momazon moon warehouse. Momazon is a parody of Amazon, created by villainess Mom and her Intrusia "alexa parody" AI assistant are everywhere. Then it gets worse. And without much spoilers, it changes reality and will never be mentioned again, like most of these "changes the universe as we know it" episodes. I dislike Mom and her three stooge sons. I can only give it 4/10
