The first reveal is that the free attendee bonus is the LAW...in Cobra colors...that's right they made COBRA LAW! That should shut some fans up. There's a list of attendee extras that includes BF 2000 Vector Jet COBRA Sky Serpent w/ Pilot BF 2000 Marauder Snowmobile 3 Pack COBRA Laser Vipers 3 Pack Ultimate Enemies 2 Pack COBRA B.A.T. Rocket Glider 2 Pack No pictures yet. Going by the convention comic book, the snowmobiles are Battle Bears...ho-hum. And the Vector won't be the original. Yeah, they could've included the Laser Viper in the main con set itself, but, you know, GREED.

If I were doing Battle Force 2000, my team would include:
Duke Grandslam Dodger Mutt & Junkyard Cross Country Law & Order Dial Tone Mainframe Roadblock Snow Job Crazy Legs Wild Bill Tunnel Rat Star Duster
Vehicles should be all in Sky Patrol Chrome. Havoc Tomohawk Snow Cat Cobra Ferret Sky Hawk Hiss Tank A.S.P. Pac Rats HAL JUMP Jetpack and the L.A.W. would be sweet too.
These would come together better than the original Battle Force 2000 set, lol :-)
Most of my choices are based on what we see in G.I. JOE the movie, and in issue #68, and in #81

Not CC Con-related, but...the SDCC exclusive this year...hard to believe there is one.

That's cool. The only con thing I wish I had was the original Starduster... with the mail away carry case!

The snow mobiles. Kinda silly, WHITE was a BF 2000 color, but...they are both the same. Could've done one as a Marauder homage and the other as a Dominator homage. $64. BAT inspired Jet Packs ($58 ) Vector is the Conquest? $132. Cobra Sky Serpent $90 Dee-Jay vs Evil Brazillian Dee-Jay $58

There shouldn't be any green on the "Vector". I kind of like that they went with a Conquest. Wish they would leave dead characters R.I.P. Just seems weird to me.

Vactor did have green engines and maintenance hatch covers. I would not have made the nosecone green.
They make dead characters because peeps want them in modern format. They want every vintage Joe in that style no matter how expensive the cost and how-half-assed the effort.
Backstop is the paradrop figure...yeah...armored car driver. What?

Crystal Ball in next figure subscription crapfest....part of the Club's last effort to milk money before the club whithers away.
Club still making Dreadnok Heartwrencher (some chick from Devil's Due run) with Dreadnok Ground Assault (stinger)...next year. Of course if stupid Hasbro had made something like that as TRU exclusive, MAYBE THE VEHICLE SETS MIGHT HAVE SOLD BETTER. Metallic blue snow cat with nearly solid red canopy? WHO WANTED THAT CRAP?
No new GI JOE retail toyline in the next 2 years or ever...they mean until the next movie...the one in "development hell".
Next year will be last JOE CON EVER...we've heard that before? In Chattanooga, TN...kind of a mundane place for the last one ever. Hasbro will include more GI JOE stuff at their HASCON...but probably not enough to get most suckers to go to it...assuming they have one after this year.

Joe can't compete with Star Wars, Transformers, or any of the other brands.
Dreadnok Stinger, I can tell you whatever new thing they make won't change colors in sunlight. I sold my Dreadnok Sears sets because the roof of the Stinger is too low for most Dreadnok figures, the RAM will break the crotches on your favorite Dreadnoks too if you aren't really careful. I went back to the good old Thunder Machine and Maisto bikes years ago, they look better too IMHO. Sears stuff is kind of a neat novelty, but the color changing parts are going to crack if you breath on them, if they haven't cracked already.
Yeah, I personally believe the plan for G.I. JOE has been to merge it with Transformers. So, no reason for it to have it's own con or property anymore. I bet Larry Hama will have to end the comic run to coincide with the movie plans.

Yeah, it won't change color. No one would care enough for whatever effort/cost they'd have to put into that. I assume the new stinger mold has deep seating...I don't own any of the remolded VAMPs.
HasCon will have some $600 VIP tour thing for hardcore GI JOE fans according to Hasbro's Deryl DePriest. No toys, just toss your money at Hasbro and they take you in the backroom and *censored*. LOL.

They should just let Super7 make animated Classic animated 6" figures...and get Gentle Giant to replicate the 1:18 original line.

Some of that shit is ridiculous! The prices on those things keep raising too, remember when a shitty white and green conquest cost 20 bucks at Toys R Us? They should just let Super7 make animated Classic animated 6" figures...and get Gentle Giant to replicate the 1:18 original line. Felix, have you ever listened to G.I. Joe fans? They're dumb, they don't get that the only goddamn thing that anyone who isn't a G.I. Joe fan, remembers about G.I. Joe fan is the intro to the first Season of the cartoon? Why would anyone want Animated style Classic figures?
