Looks like it might be okay. I have to approach these things as comic book movies more than saga entries.

I like Rogue One more than the Prequels and the Sequels, so I have hope :-)
I also feel like I'm past Star Wars, so I look at the whole thing differently than I used to. New movie, cool. Don't like it, whatever. My Star Wars is the Original Trilogy. Everything else is just for fun, don't take it too seriously :-)

Yeah, people are saying Star Wars movies aren't special anymore, they are released too often and such. And that's true, it's not just nostalgia. There's too much media out there for a movie to have the impact it used to. To me the last meaningful saga event movies (as in all movies, not just Star Wars) were the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
