The Melting Man from RoboCop

Three moments really freaked me out in the RoboCop movie:

The executive getting gunned down by ED-209 during a demonstration gone wrong.
Bob Morton getting capped and then left with a grenade. Horrible death.
But the biggest freak out moment, the one gang member getting a bunch of toxic waste one him...

Yeah, Paul Verhoven gave us horror movie violence in what was billed as a sci-fi action. He did that again with Starship Troopers.
