Bludd impersonated Destro and took over his castle in the comic...
Destro beat the crap out of Bludd.
It was probably hard for Bludd to bury the hatchet.
I wonder how Destro can trust Bludd anymore...maybe he stuffed some self destruct device into Bludd's new tech, in case he tries another coup.

Maybe, but Bludd never hated Destro. He hated Scarface for reason I never understood (And Bludd later hated Cobra Commander for CC's usual backstabbing/double crossing). Destro was presumed KIA in the comic when the impersonation began...Cobra wanting to recover the terrordrome plans, IIRC. Destro's heirs might not have been cooperative. (We know Darklon is a hustler!) So to Bludd it was likely just another job.
How Bludd disguised his lost eye is a mystery. Glass eyes don't move in synch with natural eyes.

I guess given Cobra's future tech/Destro's company, Bludd have an eye patch doesn't make much sense if BATS, Overkill and Serpentor, crazy vehicles are around here and there. Still, the tech eye concept kind of bugs me.
Been ages since I read Hama Joe, so my memory about it is all jumbled. LOL I can't even comment on anything you guys are talking about.

Looks like April 9th will reveal Snake-Eyes movie stuff. Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest Set For April 9Also, GI JOE minimates are coming. I hate those things. I don't get them. Look like building block toys but aren't part of a building block toy line. $29 for a 4 pack of crap. |

I don't like Snake Eyes anymore, he encourages mask wearing for kids.
Beach head, you're out too. He was always a jerk in the cartoon for some reason.
Probably from wearing a mask all the time.
Joe's don't wear masks.
Only COBRA's do.

Gives you an idea what a few of the actresses look like. As well as the masks/swords. For kids, obviously. I suppose originally there was going to be synergy between the Classified collector stuff and this, give GIJoe more price points. Then covid killed that idea. If the movie is streaming fodder, no one will care. Even if it makes it to the big screens, I question if boys will care about Snake Eyes as an aspirational heroic figure. Only fig I really like is Baroness. Everything else, ehhh....

Night Creeper looks nice for what it is. They skimped out on a backpack for him, though. Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow bore me.

The standing rumor I heard is Bludd/Alley Viper/Barbecue is Target exclusive... I guess this is the Cobra Island deal is one they had to make to ensure the movie product got shelf space.
