  Strider via Target.com Bonus pic, my mini-comic collection. After I ordered, turns out there's a 15 % off sell. So, about 4.50 I could have saved, but you have to get to 35 bucks anyway for free shipping as well. I threw in a couple packs of toothpaste to get the free shipping. There's no other MotU items I really want off of Target to make use of the 15 percent off and I really shouldn't be spending anymore money this month anyway. |

So, the base supposedly joins with the Castle, but it really just slides in, and it's cramped for the horse if done as pictured. This idea of the Castle as a hub for all these different things is better in theory than practice.
Guns do have explosives you can add, but the guns rest so closely that it's a tad tight doing it that way. Has an extra war helmet to give it a more aggressive feel or you can take both off and his weapons and let him be a kind robot horse.
Knee, foot, leg, ankle whatever each part is called, tail, articulated, so good posing ability to create poses and display using the base/stand deal. Neck and head also can be posed, the mouth will open so you can place the bridle in it. Most He-Man figures only have one hand that grasps things, so you got to pretend a bit with the rope in the other hand depending on the figure.
The big draw is the posing, and this does deliver. So, I give this a solid A overall for what it offers.

I'll wait for Night Stalker. Yeah, if you never had the 80's one, they were big hollow lumps with poseable guns. Not much more. At least with Battle Cat the "save money using a 70's mold for this experimental new line" was an excuse. With Stridor, come one, separately molded but non-poseable legs? Permanent one hoof up pose? I also still think figures should just straddle it like a horse, since it's a horse and MOTU figures can't sit well, but whatever.
I assumed the base was for outside the castle, so it's odd to see folks revealing it's for inside the castle, which is now a stable for some reason.

The back of the box shows it lining up in that spot of the Castle as if that's where it goes. LOL
It does make more sense just outside.

    The figures themselves do feel good in hand. One thing I disliked about oring figures 97 and up, sometimes they felt and looked like knock offs. These don't. Cons: * Overpriced * Cardboard packaging * Art of the wrong Snake Eyes figure * Some weapons included outside the bubble * Shitty filecards |

I accidently broke one of the numchucks... Damn you flimsy accessories! But as long as I have the backpack, swords and bow, I feel all is good for Storm Shadow. And I put them away anyway. LOL

  I got this blu ray set via Best Buy. 40 bucks. One of my all-time favorite tv shows, Quantum Leap. Pictured beside it is my old dvd copy of the pilot episode. I used to watch this with my mom as a boy. Several things this has going for it: * Not dated and has a quality of it as every ep is a different period piece * The two leads are amazing * Overall melancholy and sacrifice Sam is made to carry is very heroic Also, some other covers of She-Hulk #1. Only current comic series I am really supporting. |

I was at Walmart for the first time this year, I think. Not a damn thing worth buying. No 3 3/4" Star Wars, not even 6" Star Wars. No MOTU Origins. I did see CGI cartoon Orko and Sorceress. I saw Jazzware's 4" new Batman movie stuff, Deathstroke, ULTRA Rare Hologram Robin...
