Someone bought deluxe and a base... plans on selling the base set, but keeping the extra site of figs on card. That's the way to do it, if you want set and figs all open plus carded figures. But you are talking about dumping about 1000 grand to Hasbro and who knows how long it will take to get out to you and you still have to find a buyer for the extra base set.

Yeah, and either there's demand for the set after they get to buyers and you get more than the cost of the base set. Or, it's seen as lessened without the figures and you sell at cost at best. Suppose no stretch goals are met. 3 figures will be it. Seems more of a struggle. If all goals are met, and you are willing to wait for Greedo, Nabrun Leids and wolfman to appear on different cards for wide release to get for openers, then one can keep one Haslab set MOC and the second set of mint Haslab ones can be sold. Then it looks like a better idea. But that assumes wide releases for those 3 will be coming any time soon.
Anyway, this comes just before GI JOE's next Haslab in July. I guess some people seriously collect both 3 3/4 Star Wars and 6 inch GI JOE.
Who knows when Mattel will do that Snake Lair.

I liked Qui Gon Jinn. He even seemed like, "This movie sucks, but I am still going to do the best I can."
Kenobi does literally nothing the whole movie, then kicks the crap out of Darth Maul.
Attack of the Clones is hard to watch Padme and Anakin's really long date... This should be 101 for how guys should never act around a girl on a date. He does EVERYTHING wrong. Even before the date he glares at her like a stalker, and she asks him to stop...and he just keeps doing it anyway...psycho! He get's the kiss, then apologizes....never apologize...ever....major turn off for a female. The evening scene appears they have already had sex... Anakin get's emotional and blows the evening...women also hate this. Padme wasn't emotional at all...this was just a thing for her...and seems like if she knew he was going to get so emotional she never would have hooked up with him...she seems to almost feel instant regret. Anakin makes it a big deal. Making small talk, he starts complaining about sand...this is not how to win ladies over fellas. It's not until they are in the gladiator pit and about to die, she says since we're about to die anyway, yeah I guess I love you.
In Revenge of the Sith, there seems to be more going on between Padme and Kenobi, or I am reading to much into things, like Anakin was...or wasn't? ;-) Also, I complained before how it makes no sense for Anakin to kill kids to save Padme's life. But since learning about adrenochrome...I think Lucas was trying to tell us something about it here in a subtle way.
"The Men Who Stare At Goats" is my favorite Star Wars movie.

Padme is also sending mixed signals dressing in the hottest outfits possible while telling Anakin they can't be together.
She was raised in political wealth class, elected a child queen. Neither her or Anakin grew up normal.

The lighting in that scene is very dark. Implies they have already had sex.
Anakin is willing to walk away from the Jedi to be with Padme.
Padme won't sacrifice her career and queen bee social status to go be with him.
Despite Anakin's attempts at "Wishing he could wish away his feelings." Yeah, that line is forever apart of star wars now.
In ROTS they are sleeping together and everything is fine.
Except when Anakin asks her if Kenobi has been here...she looks busted.
Rogue One managed to be a good movie. But I've seen the Dark Knight so much that when the villain confronts Vader, that I hear Bane speaking for Vader...."Do you feel in charge?" Jin Ersa's speech is very emotional and seems relevant to todays times.
Solo...but I'm supposed to believe this guy turns into Harrison Ford in like 5 or 10 years? The guy that played Lando, no problem...but when he cries about his lover robot dying...I mean who wasn't laughing at this? I think I spat out my drink when I saw it.

I wanted to do a parody of the prequels where when Padme meets Anaking, Padme says "You're a sexy little boy? What's your name?" That's the level of weirdness that mocking their "relationship" deserves. Go ahead and make her a teen and him a grade schooler. Yeah, George, not disturbing at all. Lucas could've really retconned stuff and started the prequels with Amidala as daughter of Palpatine. Is she being used by her own father? Is she in on the whole thing? Luke was nearly killed by his gramps? HOLY SOAP OPERAS!

I liked that guy in Rogue One. Middle management happiness Empire worker.
House of Dragon has that plot, Bravo, where Otto knows the king is attracted to his daughter, Alicent, and she ends up being the kings second wife, giving the Hightowers a foothold to power.
The reason for Anakin being young in Ep1, George wanted to show a innocent young boy could become Darth Vader. The prequels have clunky scripting, direction and acting, but the story itself does make sense. I can buy Anakin having a might makes right approach given his childhood. I couldn't easily tell you what Disney Sequels are about. You choose your own identity, Rey Skywalker? That's the best I can come up with, lol.
Anakin and Padme, honestly, I don't find it too weird between them in Attack, my hottake. They are both awkward young adults who aren't great at flirting. Anakin is basically a jock, and jocks usually party because alone on a date, it'd be hard for them to carry on a convo with the cheerleader lol.

The problem with Director Krennic is that he's quickly overshadowed by CG Tarkin. Then add Vader to it later. He winds up being coming across as neither sympathetic or capable. He was just another disposable useful idiot who realizes it too late to save his own ass. It's an appropriate death for an Imperial jerk, but it's not earned with enough screen time. The movie also has problems with Jynn Erso's father and foster father issues. Neither of which get enough development for us to care about their deaths. Though I need to rewatch the movie sometime.

I will say this about Attack of the Clones.....Jango Fett is pretty awesome. I really feel they missed an opportunity in the arena battle where Jango Fett and Mace Windu have their duel. It would have been cool if Mace just closed his eyes before charging at Jango Fett, and easily blocked all the laser bolts and then took his head off. This would go back to Obi Wan Kenobi teaching Luke, "Your eyes can deceive you, don't trust them!"
Rogue One is good just for the droid K-2SO. And if you see Vader, RUN!
Revenge of the Sith has it's moments...the lightsaber battle has a few too many flips and chaos going on. Anakin actually kills Padme...but she was totally nailing Kenobi on that ship, so I get it. Dooku gets his hands chopped off, and doesn't cry about it. Kenobi goes down easy against Dooku...how did the council expect him to take on General Grievous alone? Anakin was right about the Jedi Councils decision.
Opening space battle is decent. But the droid ship battle is not so good.
Messed up the clones turned on their Jedi generals. I mean, Cody and Kenobi seemed like friends, as I am sure many of the other clones were as well. I would think one of them would have informed the Jedi of the plot, and they would have found Darth Sidious sooner, but it's a movie.
The prequels lack the Millennium Falcon...I know it has cameo appearances...that's part of the problem. The ship was essentially one of the main characters in the Original Trilogy. And should have been there for the audience to connect with something familiar. The Naboo Royal Starship just doesn't ring any bells.
When Obi Wan Kenobi sees the Falcon in A New Hope, he looks at Han like he's seen it before. And Vader even seems to recognize it on the Death Star.

Cantina crawls past 4,000 backers...hyperbole "crawls" PUB CRAWLER SOLD SEPARATELY. Yeah, unless they reveal a 4th backer goal, they aren't going to get any surges until the final week. Even then, a goal past 17.000 would not happen. So it would have to be a freebie, like the Cobras with the Skystriker.
The Clone wars reveals that Order 66 was made for Sidious, not the Chancellor position. And the clones have bio-chips that make them follow certain orders. When Order 66 activates, suddenly the clone know Sidious and obey him without question. But then in the Bad Batch, that fades for no real reason. Some clones were "defective", others...I dunno.

I like to think that some of the clones that were close with the Jedi, might have been able to override their programming.
And I don't like how Codie gives Kenobi back his lightsaber, calls him sir, and you can tell they have a real friendship...but then,
zzzt....Order 66 must kill Kenobi. Might have been cool if he had even died warning him of Order66 and trying to help him against the other clones. Could even have given him a chance to explain why the clones are blindly following Order66.
There's an episode in Nowhere Man where people were triggered to kill when they heard a certain message over the phone.
So yeah, I guess chips/mind control devices.

Acolyte retro figures, have no bone in the grift wars surrounding the show, haven't watched it, but is there really a fever pitch for them as retro figs? (I will admit to like the visual look of Jecki Lon simply because the character reminds me of Dark Crystral a bit)

They've been doing a wave for almost each new show, Mandalorian, Kenobi, Ahsoka. No Andor.
Mostly boring characters. And what, like one male? No wonder it's a boxed set again.
I'm not even watching clips from The Acolyte. When the lead biracial actress jokes about white people's tears, and reading about her, she's an activist twit. They fired Gina Carano, but being a leftie a-hole is acceptable. Double-standards. But anyway, barring any to free to watch animation, they can keep Star Wars. Not paying a dime to watch any of it.

4,796 Cantina Backers currently.
I noticed the bar top isn't one piece. There are seams before the curved section. I mean, really? For the price, it should be seamless. As from what I can tell, its seamless in the film.
