2024 Collecting...is anyone still alive?

My new toy.



Fortunately my friend was there to help me put it together.

I only used it one day...I am out of shape, and can do sets of 5 pull-ups...I used to be able to knock out 10 no problem...20 if I pushed myself.
But just one day, doing sets of fives. My arms are already much bigger. I am already glad I got this.

Finally made it Walmart again. No Mossmen. Scoured the aisles. All gone. Missed the clearance...somehow I knew I would. I just couldn't get myself over there to check. There's one other walmart reasonably close, but not sure I'll try. Funny how no one collects Origins enough for retail to stock, but some clearance items disappear fast. F'ing resellers is what it is. Oh, anyway I found Spikor and Serpent Claw Man at Arms for $8 each and I got this neat Micro fleet whatever Star Wars set for $4 to resell (probably). LOL. They had 4 of them and 4 bucks was too cheap not to try it as mini investment. They had another Spikor, too, but I already had one I got from BBTS that I never opened. Of course the snake men from that wave were long gone. I did see at full price, reissued Zodac and Turtles of Grayskull wave 2 and Krang. And retro Scarlett, Duke and Recondo.

Apparently Walmarts recently redid their aisles.
I say I saw Zodac so that meant someone scooped up the 3 cartoon figures from his case.

Heh, they had the D&D movie Hugh Grant figure clearanced for $5. Who thought that would sell?

Got a couple of tech deck skateboards for TMNT, they're okay, forgot to take any pics of those.

Tried on one of my Batman shirts, some gray sweatpants I picked up this afternoon, couldn't help notice my bright blue hoody sitting in the corner...



Also say some Hotwheels Batman stuff, the Bat flying drone thing and motorcycle I passed on...they looked good, I just don't really collect Hotwheels...but when I saw the Penguin duck I couldn't resist.

I had ordered these eBay comics at the top of the month, but got lost in the mail for a bit, finally here.

Extendar arrived today at my neighbours...I walked over and got it and said "Beyotch, you try and still my package again, and I'm smack gonna the white off ya!" Okay, I didn't say that. Weekend FedEx guy delivered to wrong house before.

Anyway, X-the-Tender is fine...I opened the one with the least annoying mold lines (they all seem to have them at his face shield)...yet, I get a left shoulder that's loose in certain poses. *sigh* I can take the other one I got out, but...I dunno. Plus side not stuck joints on mine. I haven't added the leg extensions. The neck and torso are like the original just pull out, like I did with the neighbor lady. The fold open shield seems more fragile than the original, like they used harder plastic. So maybe not use that feature. I generally like him as a toy, but maybe my standards are low I like Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms, even if he's an underpainted repaint...but then I paid 8 for him, not $20+.
