Good review, Bravo. I won't get Extender for a while as my buddy bought him for me. I don't really care, one of my least interesting MotU character/figures ever, so I'm fine with him being on hold for awhile. LOL

No doubt, latter day heroic warriors were a mixed bag. I think this is funner toy than Rokkon, whose joints are too restricted by rock plates. My vintage bias is there, though. I owned Extendar and not Rokkon. The minicomic ends on a Be Continued. Looks like a new Horde character is coming, made possibly to reuse some of Extendar's tooling? We'll see.

Face It. If that one Spider-Man don't have it. I don't need it!
Spidey's ability to move having his torso forward but his legs extended ahead of it is amazing.

Catwoman looks perrrty.
Ghost Rider with Spider Man looks pretty epic.
Spidey's webbing always bugged me. I think the cartoon and comic had it so he made cartridges of this "White sticky stuff", but it is never fully explained how I think, haha. Movies made it so it shoots out of his wrist, which is pretty gross...especially the volume of webbing he needs to use.

Well, if its out of his wrists, he's more a "Man-Spider" rather than a "Spider-Man." The thing is, in his first appearance, he creates revolutionary tech as a teenager, this is one of the problems with him being down on his luck/broke all the time. The guy is a genius level person.
Revenge of the Sinister Six storyline in Spider-Man comics: It was a 90s crossover with all sorts of guest stars by Erik Larsen after Todd 'retired'. I used to have all Spider-Man 1-around 26 or so, here and there I've been recollecting those. That storyline Erik did has everything you'd want out of 90s action comics, sort of a proto story for him before he goes on to do his Savage Dragon series.

I much prefer the web cartridges. Yeah, Spider-Man is a genius, but he spends most of his time fighting crime, so not as much time to invent cool stuff maybe?
Although I never had the comics, I would sneak out of bed early in the morning like 5:30am was when the Spiderman cartoon came on....the real old ones.
And then later Spider Man and Friends cartoon was always a favorite...I remember reading a comic as a teen and thinking Mary Jane has to be Firestarter.
There was one Spiderman and Friends cartoon where the X-men made an appearance. ANd Firestarter and Ice-Man get the signal for an important X-men meeting, and they totally ditch Spider-Man, "Sorry Spidey! X-men only!"
I thought, what jerks. I mean, aren't you his "friends" and hasn't Spider-Man earned enough credit with the X-men yet?
Fun fact, same voice actor for Spider-Man/Peter Parker, voiced Beachhead in a couple G.I.JOE cartoons.

Yeah, Mary Jane and Firestar are suspiciously similar.
Spider-Man's voice was Slipstream. Daniel John Gilvezan who voiced Bumblebee, too.
There was a solo Spider-man toon around the same time as Amazing Friends, but different voice actor. I don't remember the solo show at all.

I vaguely seem to remember some of the villains, like Dr. Doom, Dr. Octopus, Goblin....there were others just not sure.
And Jameson, the newspaper manager, yelling about Spiderman. The Jameson in the movie was just like him, he did a great job acting that character.
Also, probably a lot of reuse of cut scenes where Spider Man crashes through a window in a building.
It happened so often, at some point I think I winced from the sound of the breaking glass.

I want to see where the story of Betty and Veronica goes.

That's Adam Hughes art. Look him up. He can draw beautiful ladies just based on his lines. He doesn't need to draw a girl spread eagle/other trashy poses, just his style, a simple pinup can make for beautiful female visuals. He is known as the premiere 'good girl' artist. There's a Baroness pinup of his.

I think I heard She-Hulk might be ending for the time being, so that will be a little strain off of me. Now, concerning the Duke/Transformers trades... there are Direct Market cover variants which I got, but I seem to have accidentally ordered a regular version of Transfomers Trade as well, oops, I'll give it to someone at Christmas lol.

Something arrived today I wasn't expecting... Transformers 3rd party Fans Toys Lupus, AKA decepticon headmaster weirdwolf. It was supposed to get here last year I even got refunded for it from TFSource. Going to have to just send it back to them when I make a trip next.
