Apparently some hoarder/customizer GI JOE/toy collector from Florida died or some shit and there's a ton of his collection on ebay. (He had at least 300 Viper V1's! )

He customized and kitbashed a lot of GI JOE stuff.

As tempting as it is, I'll never army build a vintage figure again. It requires constant maintenance. Rubberbands are constantly breaking, no reason. Knee's seem to get looser by the minute. You really start to notice every tiny flaw in the paint after awhile too. And if one of them breaks your left with an odd number the entire platoon breaks down

I went back on my word, I ordered the Sideshow Falcon. The exclusive head kind of has a young Don Johnson look.

Yeah, I don't blame you there. ARAH doesn't age well. I buy what I find used and cheap at garage sales and such...but I hardly look at ebay vintage Joe lots.

One of the forums mentioned something about this collector being a Vietnam veteran, model builder and stuff. Older than most of us 3 3/4" collectors.
