Well, it's better than the last one. Pretty slow too. Some decent action scenes. Logan has some good one liners. About what you would expect in this type of movie. I was hoping for some Sabertooth. There's really no good nemesis for Wolverine besides him. There's ninjas in this one. They're seen very briefly, I liked that, them being ninjas and all.
If you watch it in the theaters, there is a sneak peak for the next X-men at the end of the credits.
I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. I remember when I was a teenager, it was rumored a Wolverine movie was in the works way back then. Took about 15 more years, and it wasn't very good. This ones at least a little better. So if I'm a little generous with my star rating, that may be why.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!
Actually everything I posted was kind of a spoiler I guess. Well they suppress Wolverines healing power....so his hands should be bleeding every time he uses his claws right? I guess they really stretched the "suppressed" thing.

I watched pirated filmed-in-theater credits scene so I wouldn't be spoiled for me before I got around to seeing the movie.
The next X-Men movie is either gonna be great or a total mess.

I saw it today. Enjoyable for $5, not worth much more. I'd place it a bit above average mainly for Jackman. He's aged into the role well, looking a bit rougher makes him more like the comic character, IMHO. I was wondering about the claws thing, too. How did Logan fight at D-Day then wind up a POW in Nagasaki? And Sabretooth/Victor let him get taken prisoner? They were together all those years, or so it was implied. I guess Sabretooth got transferred to another unit or Logan did. I was confused by Wolverine's bisexuality. He said "I love Eugene..." I don't recall a character named Eugene, but whatever. That Viper bitch was kind of stupid. That mole on her face was distracting from her beauty, too. Not sure what the shedding her skin thing was for later in the movie. I got the impression from the trailer that she disguised herself as Jean, but that was unclear in the film. I guessed the reveal of the Silver Samurai at the end. I don't recall her being a mutant in the comics, but my knowledge is old. I thought she was a scar faced brunette. Not enough ninjas being killed. They disappeared after capturing Logan. I expected one of the Japanese girls to die and surprised the red haired one didn't, though that would've been counter to Wolverine letting go of Jean and being remotivated to keep fighting the good fight. So they cut of his claws to drain his bone marrow, I guess that was it. I was wondering if they were draining adamantium, but what would be the purpose of that. And sure enough the end credits scene, Wolverine still has a metal skeleton, but bone claws again.

Magneto will probably give him back his claws. Wolverine without Sabertooth is well, pretty boring. I just rewatched the first Wolverine. It wasn't as bad as I remember, but there were some pretty terrible moments. Not so subliminal Budweiser advertisements. Terrible CGI, I mean it's just bad....real bad. They should have given Sabertooth long hair, should have used the actor in X-men, he played him right. The guy that plays Deadpool before he gets turned into Deadpool is deflecting lots of bullets by spining his sword....this is in line for one of the worst things I've seen in a movie, ever. The good, they did his origin pretty well. Somebody clever could probably recut the movie into a decent half hour or 45 minute film and just show the important parts of his origin.
