I remember hearing about these about a year ago, and was browsing around recently and found out, holy crap they aren't just doing the original 10 or whatever, but they seem to be going for the entire line! At $80 a pop, pricey, but considering what the original figures go for complete/MOC, I'm just surprised I haven't tried getting at least some of them. Granted, in larger scale, the flaws these figures have are just enhanced, but still. I don't know, I only have 5 originals: Luke, Han, Chewbacca, Vader and 3PO. I still think they're great. All in all I guess what holds me back is the scale. They would just be out of place. Too bad they didn't just redo the originals. Curious to hear your guys' thoughts on them

I don't get it. Kenner had a short lived vintage 12" line and it was nothing like this (I had IG-88 and he was awesome, but I wasn't unto 12" scale then). There was a 90's/early 2000's 12" series, too, that goes for cheap over all. So these things seem odd. I would think they were cool, but $80 is just crazy. I'm just getting out of touch with modern toy collecting. Selling a big piece of cardboard for $90... www.gentlegiantltd.com/product_p/80303.htm
