In person I mean. What are your thoughts on them? Are they worth the price? Is the idea absolutely absurd? Is the quality there? Or do they just look like oversized figures?
For one thing, there will never be a 6" Black Series AT-AT, X-wing, TIE-FIghter... you get the idea. Isn't putting the figures in a vehicle part of the fun? Although they are doing the speeder bike, I suppose some smaller ships like a Jedi Starfighter wouldn't be totally out of the question. I suppose fans can keep the smaller figures just for vehicles....this seems weird to me, and just makes it feel like Hasbros trying to milk us for more cash.
I seriously doubt I would be willing to start over from scratch at a higher price point, but I have been thinking about IF I started over, what would I collect differently?

Not out of the package.
The way they are dragging ass with character releases would make it frustrating to collect. They really should've started this years ago when prices were less crazy. They wound up making Greedo and Slave Leia too soon and they are pegwarmers, and those known characters...the odds of lesser knowns seems unlikely, and what I liked about Star Wars toys was the obscure characters.
There's concerns that all collectors figures will be 6 inch and 4 inch will be kid aimed with 5 joints. Hasbro denies this, but...
I doubt any prequel ships will happen at this point.
If I started over, I'd like to think I wouldn't collect anything, but I know that's a lie. At $20 each I can't ever see myself getting into the 6 inchers, as I can barely rationalize $10 for a 3 3/4" figure even when I have money to waste on them.

Right now there's a lot of Star Wars fan sites participating in a Hasbro poll to chose the next 6-inch figure.
Even though it's all rigged anyway.
