This season was kind of slow, but it ended with some punches to the gut! ;-) Probably the biggest WTF moment is that John Snow is dead....kind of fucking lame if you ask me. I think his mom was Ned Starks sister, and she had him while she was captured with the Tygarions (sp?), so maybe he was actually a rightfull heir to the throne, but it doesn't really matter now because he's dead. Seems like they are done with the Wall and the Nights Watch in the story. Next we have Cersi. You want her to suffer for what she's done, and she does. That's some biblical suffering right there, walking naked throw the city while people are spitting on you and throwing crap in your face. When the zombie Mountain guard carries her at the end, I have this weird feeling of revenge I want to see her have. I felt bad for the Lanister girl that got poisoned, a true tragedy of war. I hate that Jamie Lanister can't really fight without his right hand. I wish he had a special blade attachment for his missing hand. Arya kicked some serious ass, the Many Faced God took her eyes, but I believe she'll get them back...I hope. Bran was MIA this season, but was the last thing we saw when the previous season ended...I still think he's going to take control of and become one of the dragons. This will be a game changer. Reak and Sansa ran for it, I'm sure Brianna the knight will find them and help...but to what end? There's no place safe to go. And as much as I hate Ramsay, I'm on the fence with how I feel about him. In other words, if you had to make a choice, who would you rather be Ramsey the cruel torturer, or Reak (Theon Greyjoy), crucified and castrated? Tyrion the dwarf is already in charge of a city, can he keep the peace? Will he ever find true love? It would be kind of funny if he hooked up with the mother of dragons Oh wait, she's captured by the Darthraki. Another big WTF moment, Stannis gets his arse handed to him, the red witch sent him down all the wrong paths, burning his daughter (hope she survived somehow like the Mother of Dragons did...but it doesn't look promising.

I felt like the show comprimised Stannis' character. He would not burn his daughter. That is his heir. All he got was melted snow, but he lost his forces, his wife, his daughter, his advisors. It does not flow. Stannis would not burn his daughter. Stannis is all about following law. Maintaining his family line is key to that.
He may have very well lost, but I felt like the show crapped on his character to justify the vegance of Remly's lady night. Stannis was willing to fight to the death against a horrible house in the Boltons and he was fighting for proper kingly succession.
I don't think Stannis would have made a good king, but I do think he would have been a wonderful night watchmen commander, and what I always suspected he'd become. Guess not.
His daughter may be burned in the books, but not by his doing. Rather his wife/Mel.
Ramsey has benifited from hapenstance. Roose made the deal with Frays and Tywin, which gave them the north. Theon foolishly betrayed Robb out of daddy issues. Littlefinger didn't know Ramsey was a monster, or would never have allowed Sansa to marry him. His luck will run out. Show!Stannis made key mistakes.
They didn't burn Stannis' troops bodies. What happens when/if the undead get over the wall?
The walk of shame is designed to break a woman's pride. Cercei didn't deserve it anymore than what Ramsey did to Theon.
Jamie and the Drone storyline was BAD! They were all bad sterotypes. There is a narritive justifcation as to what is happening to all this kids, all these houses are losing their heirs because of infighting. Oh, but plenty Stark kids are safe, as safe as you can be: Bran learning from Tree people, Arya the assassion (who's being humbled a bit right now), Sansa learning to play the political games, Ricken off with Osha learning wildling ways.
Tyrion is never going to be king. But he will be good couincel. His only draw back is his own discouragement he sometimes suffers from. Danny is about to get return to her roots, which I think will benefit her.
Jon Snow made the RIGHT choices, only mistake was not surrounding himself with trusted loyalist in times of upheval. He needed his wolf as his side, also.
The game changer is the Army of the dead.

Stannis would totally burn his daughter. He was under total control from the red witch. If he had stopped listening to her after failing to take Kings Landing and listen to his trusted advisor and friend (can't remember his name?), then things would have worked out much better for him.
Who is left to fight the good fight?
Arya Sansa & Reek Bran Danny Many Faced God Jamie Lanister Brianna the Knight Tyrion Osha & Ricken
Villains Ramsey Cerci The Religious Cult House of Frey Little Finger White Walkers
The herd is thinning out. I hope they only do one more season, this one was dragged out, time to wrap things up. I wouldn't be surprised if they stretched in out for a few seasons though. I feel Danny was ready to take on Kings Landing. She had too many followers for an uprising to be any threat.

I was thinking about the white walkers and the army of the dead...when they come...will characters that have been killed off return? John Snow, Stannis, his Daughter, Ned Stark???
I still think Bran will become a Dragon with his warg powers.
Kind of weird just before the season ended we see John Snow is able to take down the white walkers with his sword, only to be killed in the next episode...so much for the hope of all mankind.
I love the show, but they've killed off most of my favorite characters.

I have plenty of theories surrounding Jon Snow for the record.
