Mr. Hama is going to be writing a prequel comic for Call of Duty Black Ops 3, published by Dark Horse comics...that's all I know :-)
I saw it on wikipedia, so it must be true.

If there's a story to Call of Duty, I don't know it because I never played the games. Or not enough to care.

I've been playing the games since they came out, almost ten years...not sure exactly. The multiplayer is fun if you like first person shooter games, but it does get old after a while. It's fun to play for about an hour and move onto something else. I like that the game doesn't consume my entire day or life like other games out there (World of Warcraft), but the zombie mode is where I've had the most fun. Killing endless hordes of Nazi zombies with three of your friends, priceless...those games can go on for a while, but they do end.
Each game title has had a campaign mode where you play a character. Sometimes you get through a whole mission and die at the end (it has to happen that way), then you play a new character and the story goes on. The first game "World at War" was cool, Kiefer Sutherland voiced the main character and the missions were based on actual battles that took place. The games after are all made up as far as I know. Sometimes you can tell they got this or that idea from a book or movie, or perhaps from a documented experience. I've been saying it for years, but if Hasbro could make a Deal with the game developers to tie in G.I. JOE to the Call of Duty franchise, that's the only way I ever see G.I. JOE making a major come back. Seeing Hama on board makes me wonder...
