I honestly love reading about people's Joeverses.
Current goings on...
Rule #1: If I don't own the figure, then he/she is either dead or MIA. Has to be 25th ann of above. I may make a few exceptions with those VvV figs, but that's only here and there.
Duke is dead, but always gets cloned in my verse.
Serpentor is in charge, Mindbender is out of favor and recently a man called "Old Snake" has gotten the ear of Serpentor, offering prophetic information about the future, which is giving Cobra much needed advantage on the battlefield, however, he may not have Serpentor's best interests at heart. Hmmmm
The actual Cobra Commander remains a snake and is in position of GIJoe. Baroness will eventually help him return once she figures out he's her brother.
Meanwhile, Marissa Faireborn has come from the future to warn her parents Cobra La will take over in the future unless events are changed. So, both Old Snake and Marissa are trying to influence events to their advantage.
The Rock and Bruce Willis have added to GIJoe's celebrity roster (they are not Roadblock and Colton).
GIJoe is operating out of the ROCC. Every other HQers is destroyed. Red skies. Hawk is in charge. Ripcord is black. Cobra operates the Technodrome and is aligned with Krang, who has no pull at all. He's very much stuck as vehicle driver mode.

That was an enjoyable read, thanks for sharing  And a great topic as well! I'm with you on the Old Snake and Melissa Fairborne story, it works. I only use original JOE's and COBRA's, but the same rule applies, if I don't have them, they're dead or MIA. Falcon is leading a rag tag team of JOE's, these are the Renegades. Slaughter is MIA, it's believed COBRA has captured him for DNA tests. Duke is dead from events in G.I. JOE the movie. There is a Synthoid Tiger Force Duke, but he seems to be working for COBRA. The real Duke went into a coma, came out of it, he felt fine for about a few days, his recovery seemed optimistic, but the snake venom got to his heart and he suffered extreme heart failure during a welcome home ceremony. Gung Ho, Dodger, Tunnel Rat, Outback, Big Lob, Dusty, Jinx, the rest of the Renegades and the Marauders are all part of the current roster. While the MCC has been damaged, it's not mobile anymore, but it serves as the ground base for the Renegades. I don't have one, but that's what I'm going by. The Joe's have the Battle Wagon, the Badger, APC, a Snow Cat and a Tomohawk. In my book Serpentor is dead. Destro, CC and Baroness form COIL. |

I'm with you on the Old Snake and Melissa Fairborne story, it works. Days of the future past, basically. Falcon is leading a rag tag team of JOE's, these are the Renegades. Love it! Slaughter is MIA, it's believed COBRA has captured him for DNA tests. IT really hurts, but it makes sense as well. He is one of my favorites, but I don't own the figure, so he's MIA. It does give Mercer a chance to stand on his own and without Slaughter around, the tension between Falcon and Mercer is VERY high in my verse. Gung Ho, Dodger, Tunnel Rat, Outback, Big Lob, Dusty, Jinx, the rest of the Renegades and the Marauders are all part of the current roster. Great team. I'm going to work on coming up with a GIJoe roster that combines the best of all sorts of media to my liking. |

Thanks I'm totally with you on the tension between Falcon and Mercer  Dusty is the one trying to hold the team together And although Serpentor is dead, why does COIL need Slaughter DNA , hmmmm |

I put this team today...
Interestingly enough, this team is a mixture of GIjoe Sub-Groups. Marauders/Night Force/Renegades
Team Operates out of R.H.I.N.O.
Leader: Lt. Falcon
Renegades: Mercer, Red Dog, Taurus
Marauders: Barbecue, Low Light, Spirit and Freedom
Night Force: Jinx, Outback, Psyche-Out
G.I. Joes: Cannonball, Chuckles, Crazy-Legs, Heavy Duty, Law and Order, Tunnel Rat
Cannonball is an example of VsV exception. He drives the R.H.I.N.O., which is used for blunt treading into Cobra controlled areas of the world. Heavy Duty isn't pictured, but I realized, I wanted the Heavy Duty/Tunnel Rat bromance from Sigma 6, so he's apart of the team. Low Light gives paranoia against Mercer's loyalties. Spirit provides wisdom. Oh, Psyche-Out is second in command. Jinx flying the helicopter.

I honestly love reading about people's Joeverses. i liked reading about stuff people did when they were kids that was different from the media. Snake Cobra Commander is now GI JOE!  I know you meant possession or something. My only Joeverse these days is a silly idea I have that whatever items I get that year is the team. So this year's only active Joes are Barbecue, Law and Tollbooth, they have a MCC, a non-fuctioning WHALE and a turretless LAW at their disposal. This is okay because Cobra consists of Gnawgahyde, a valor vs venom Viper and a broken FANG. |

Nice shots!!! Especially the RENEGADES!!! I'm playing too! Trying to follow the rules!!! *Except 25th series. My team operates out of the Battle Wagon.  *Notes of interest. *Although you can't tell, Falcon and Dusty version 2 are driving!!! *Yes, that's two different versions of Low Light in the same shot, BAM! I'll include a shot of a Chuckles custom I did next time, it's really cool. My custom Duke I did before there ever was a RESOLUTE series, no kidding (except the gun he's holding). I use him as the original Duke. The one that woke up from the coma, not Synthoid Tiger Force Duke. I just thought the parts went together really well.  I already think I've changed my mind. The Battle Wagon is going to become an exclusive Renegade vehicle. The rest of the Joe's are going to operate from the Rolling Thunder and Tomohawk. COIL will have a HISS tank. It's Destro version 2, Cobra Commander as Star Viper and Iron Grendiers. |

Thanks to some toy show purchases, my 2015 joe verse added Wild Bill V1 and two 25th style green shirts...I had the chance to buy some "new sculpt" era Cobras but passed because I already had them, they were kinda used/worn and I just didn't care.
Edit: Had some ebay bucks to spend, so I got a Convention Overlord (no accessories) for about $10 from China. Now he's the 2015 Cobra leader, for what's left of the year less than 2 months.
