Who is Kylo Ren?

We know he's a Sith Lord probably....


I'm guessing it's Darth Revan from KOTOR. And I'm basing this off the similarity between these characters appearances.
Yes, KOTOR, was like a 1000 years before ROTJ, but I believe it's possible because in Revenge of the Sith, we learn Palpatine knows how to live a long long time.

Another clue is the lightsaber. While it's not like anything we've ever seen before, it does appear to be ancient. Sure, he could be another Sith, but I'm sticking to this.

Final clue is we kind of see him stumbling in the darkness, like he rose from the grave or something.


Unanswered questions:
Why does he seem to have a connection to Vader and cherish the mask?
This brings out the possibility that he could be Luke, but I strongly doubt this.

If does rise up out of nowhere, how is he suddenly in charge of the Empire?
Unless the Empire tried to bring him back to life in a somewhat similar fashion like Cobra did with Serpentor.

Honestly other than that I'm out of ideas. He could just be an all new character, or it could just be Mickey Mouse under the mask.

His lightsaber seems crude. Like a self-trained user of the force who had no help. And a fanboy of the most famous Sith there was, Vader.

Fact: Ren isn't a name , he's parts of the Knights of Ren...there's a still photo of them out there. So it's safe to say that Kylo Ren isn't his real name, but a title like Darth Vader.

Dunno what their deal is, Sith wannabes?

Speculation: I'm guessing he's Luke's son, Rey's sister...there has to a conflict between Rey and Kylo Ren. Luke's kids because why would Han and Leia's kids be MIA...that would require a lot of exposition. "We had twins but they were lost decades ago." Nah. But then with Luke we are left with "Who Was Their Mother?"

Other people are guessing Kylo Ren is Luke and the casting of Adam Driver in the role is a trick.

People are guessing that Finn holding the lightsaber is red herring...he's not the chose one or whatever.
