11 Waves still no new Sgt Slaughter. Of course they were all but giving them away in Malaysia. Most interesting thing is Brutus includes an alternate head. Gee these retail for $20 but when a MOTU figure gets alternate head and hands, he's a $25 figure or more (Kamo Khan).   |

Yeah, look him up, the man of a million gimmicks. The Alt-Head is him as Zodiac. He was basically a hanger on of Hogan/bag carrier behind the scenes.
He was Brother Bruti in WCW because Brutus Beefcake was a trademark of WWF. Then he became the Butcher and betrayed Hogan, worked a program, one of the worst Hogan ppv mainevents many people believe (Hogan vs a midcarder, come on). Them the Dungeon of Doom is created as a wrestling stable to feed Hogan a steady stream of heel jobbers. That's where he is Zodiac. Later it turns out he was a 'mole' and on Hogan's side the entire time. Then he becomes the Booty Man.
Not a great wrestler. But sometimes good character work. His peak is him getting an unset victory over Perfect at Wrestlemania. He was primed to win the IC Title, but got in the boating accident. Warrior ends up getting that moment. Rest is history.

Crimson Horde Trooper means absolutely nothing to me.
Mattel still reusing the old Horde Trooper heads, instead of making a new head with actual eyes.

The head does bug me. The Horde Trooper is one that I'd prefer they'd gone animated look with. I don't understand why they went with the toy chest logo on Classics, either.

It seems like such a superfluous army builder when the normal hover robot hasn't been released yet. And who would they pack that with? I just don't see them offering the hover bots alone. Cartoon palace guard? I can't recall many evil warrior "army builders" on Filmation...Shadow Beasts are too big. Here's a few. Fishmen, Merman's goons...wouldn't mind that. But to be accurate, they'd need thinner bodies than standard.  Goblins some army allied with Skeletor at one point. Mostly regular bodied. I could see them.  Squaty and thick, maybe if they used the thicc fat guy WWE torso? Orks, not sure what their story is. I can't go any of these fan wikis because they make my browser crash from overload. Old PC.  |

A standard Horde Trooper two-pack would be a much better deal.
Only other figure I could see myself army building would be Skelcon.
The dude that came with the Classics Roton.
Nothing to do with the cartoon.
Some random Skeletor variant will come with two hover bots and be very hard to get.
I will say this for Crimson Horde Trooper verses Star Wars Royal Guard...
At least he can move his head.
