Decided to restart this thread right, hey I took some pics that aren't too blurry! Starting off with my top two favorite MOTU villains, Webstor and Kobra Khan Next up is Whiplash, I will be pairing him up with Clawful as soon as I can pick one up. Plundor, not sure why I like the purple evil rabbit so much, I never even knew about this guy, I just know I like it Draego Man and Hordak. No idea who the dragon guy is, don't care he rocks, I've posted him before, so it's not really new. Hordak is so evil, I'm surprised they were ever able to approve him for a toy and the cartoon. Granted the cartoon made him more of a mechanical character....still. I finally got Teela I've got Battleground Teela and the Green Goddess displayed next to her. And Conan, I mean Vikor and Ram Man. I'm not too into the heroes aside from Ram Man, Stratos, and Buzz Off...and well, I think the girl heroines balance out the ugly villains nicely, so I like them too. So, I also got a few more items coming after the matty cyber sale, and a couple big ones: Castle Greyskull is on the way with Point Dread, grabbed Loo Kee and Shokoti during the sale too Need to take some pics of He-Man, Battleground Evil Lyn and Granamyr, but I'm pretty happy with how far my collections come already. Still need to work on my photography skills, but I figured out that turning the ISO sensitivity down really seemed to help. It's only taking me like 5 years to figure my camera out.

Yeah, Cobra Khan and Webstor are great. I hate spiders, but liked Webstor.
Draego Man was a new character invented for the line for some reason. Not that he's bad, but made before classic characters I guess to save on tooling costs or just to drag things out.
Most of He-Man's allies were lame compared to the villains. He has two warriors whose big contributions are growing tall. Two that can turn into rocks. Man-E-Faces was and still is a weird character. I like Snout Spout, but...he's a firefighting elephant (and he was ruined when I learned he used to be a regular human). Rio Blast can outgun anyone, but the character concept seemed to belong to BraveStar, not MOTU. The 200X cartoon did redeem some of them as characters, though.

Rio-Blast does seem like he belongs in Bravestar....MOTU tried going beyond space and other realms: Sy-Clone is a good example, I liked him as a kid, just think he's weird now and seems like he ended up in the wrong toy line. Zodak falls into that category of strangeness too, I'm not a big fan of the original anymore, but I do like the new black one they did. You're right about Man-E-Faces, he IS weird!!! His skin just grows around the metal parts, he's a pretty morbid looking character. I liked him as a kid a little bit, but not now. I do find it amusing on the Game of Thrones show, one of the main characters is "The Many Faced God" Stratos was always my favorite of the male friends. Mainly because he reminded me of the Hawk-Man character on Buck Rogers. Always hated Man-At-Arms because of his helmet...it just bugged me. Never cared for his part on the cartoon, he was pretty much worthless, same in the comic book. I also hated the original figure was clean shaven and the cartoon character had the mustache. I vaguely remember drawing one on my figure with a marker back in the day. He's just a glorified palace guard in my world that stays at the palace to guard it. I don't care about the palace. Castle Greyskull is where its at. Buzz-Off was and still is another favorite. The idea of Bee-Man just cracks me up. Had to make an exception for characters with the ability to fly. Fisto I liked as a kid, as an adult one has to wonder how that name ever got approved, no interest in him now. Ram-Man, another great name. I have him now just because of how well they updated the figure, separate legs, knees bend, head moves, has an alternate head, his overall size is massive. Kind of like a giant dwarf, I like it a lot. He makes a good simple character to tag along in He-Mans adventures. Never knew about Snout Spout till researching the new line, don't care about him. Don't think he's cool, that's not going to change. And lets not forget Moss-Man....okay lets forget Moss-Man. The primary good guy team for me is He-Man, Sorceress, Teela, Ram-Man, Stratos and Battle-Cat. When She-Ra came out, I thought it was lame Teela just didn't get her own show, to me Teela had filled that role all along of the powerful female warrior. She has such a bizarre backstory since the mini-comic and cartoon contradicted each other. I won't get into that now, that's a long discussion I only saw one episode of that new 200x series. I need to catch up on that series, what kind of fan am I?

Point Dread got here the other day, it's massive! At the moment, I'm displaying it within Castle Greyskulls walls, so it can rise up and fly out, Castle Greyskull makes a good garage. The elevator in the castle makes for a nice feature for cockpit access in this setup. I also ordered a few loose figures from international sellers: white Zodac, Stratos with blue wings, Madame Razz & Broom Teela that came with point dread, doesn't have the best paint quality, she iis NOT as good as the original version, not even close. But her alternate head, not pictured has a helmet, and her legs bend easier, so she makes a good pilot for the Talon Fighter, that's about it. She's not really a good figure, kind of a bummer, but I got this set for the vehicle. The figure sells for a lot on ebay, that might be right where she's headed. She's not the worst figure you ever saw, but trust me when I say the quality is just not there.

Finishing off 2015 with some major players! I picked up the Sorceress, already had the Temple of Darkness version (all white version), but I needed to get the classic one. Anyway, I really like it, it's a beautiful figure. I hate to say it, but I already got Shadow Weaver too I kept an eye out, and grabbed her when I saw the best deal I had seen pop up. And the mattycollector site put Prahvus on sale, so I grabbed him along with Battle-Cat and She-Ra. It's been a few pricey months, but I've managed to get the bulk of what I had set out to get. I'm waiting on Skeletor and Beastman for the 2016 filmation versions. There's probably a good 10 or 20 more figures I want, but far from the top of my list and most of them at least are not in the "really high price range", so I can start saving for Snake Mountain

I need to take more pics, got Black Zodak in the mail today, what a fun figure I took a nap when I got home, it was dark when I woke up, and those markings on Zodak (I didn't know this), glow in the dark, it was cool to just see them glowing, surprised me.

Got Catra, Clawful, Mantenna and Grizzlor on the way On a side note, check out this guys custom "Warduke" from Dungeons & Dragons! He used a King Greyskull figure as a base. I want to sculpt & customize my own. Just love this one.

I had Warduke's figure. One of my favorite 80's villains. I'll point out here as I have elsewhere, that they got his sword/shield on wrong. He's a lefty. His mailed arm is his sword arm, it's exposed in combat, which is why it's got chain mail, his other army holds the shield so it's protected by the shield. The 80's figure art shows that and his right arm was angled to hold the shield in front of him.

I do remember the toy working the way you described. The sword did not want to fit in the right hand, and the shield didn't want to work on the left, but when you put them on like the card art, they fit perfectly. So, I believe you are 100% right. He's a lefty.

Some pics of my new figures: Clawfuls one of my favorites I'm already wanting another one, so I can give him two big claw hands...I guess I could make one with two small hands too then. Grizzlors really cool. All his weapons attach to his harness on his back. He always kind of reminded me of the Chewbacca like sidekick on Thundar the Barbarian (one of my favorite shows as a kid). Shikoti and Prahvus. Apparently, these two go together, the magic lamp came with Prahvus. Shikoti has no accessories for her hands, and she has gripping hands, so she needs something to hold, or pose her with her hands behind her back. I still like her a lot. Prahvus is just a bad mofo. [url= Shadow Weaver and Catra. Shadow Weaver is a figure I've always wanted. I don't even care that I payed a good amount of money for her. I don't care if Mattel makes a new filmation style version, I'd grab that too. I just love her character and this figure. Catra...she's not that great, not sure if she was even on my list, but I found her for really cheap. I don't really like the paint aps on her posed hand. In the Conan comics, he has a love interest with a girl in red, but with blonde hair. I may give Catra a She-Ra or Teela head at some point for that purpose.
