I was told to watch this by a co-worker. I've been reluctant to give it a shot because I hated the idea of Gotham kids...I felt it would ruin a lot of what I had envisioned that world to be like. Got to say though I really do like the show. Still pummeling my way through season one, but it's pretty darn good.
Penguines character is probably the best so far. The actor nailed it! Very impressive.
Cat-this is what I was afraid of the show being, but these characters had to be kids at some point, so what would they have been like? She's done very well playing Catwoman. Another A+
Bruce Wayne = most boring kid ever, lol! Guess thats what rich and famous life does.
Jim Gordon, hero and star of the show. I'm rooting for him.
The Riddler, again, the actor nailed this perfectly.
Without spoiling anything, it's a fun show.

Yeah, I watched from the beginning, and it's almost better than it has a right to be. Thanks to strong performances by Robin Lord Taylor as Penquin and what's his name as Gordon, and a few others. Also, the show's look is sort of like the Tim Burton-era Batman movies. You'll see out dated tech, gritty locales, and interesting set designs. In the aerial shots they alter New York's skyline to make it seems like a different city. Really helps distinguish it from Arrow and the Flash (and Supergirl).
Season 2's first half is a bit frustrating, but not bad. They give Bruce more do besides hang out in his living room. Arguably, his stories are still the weakest part of the series, though.
