Color me the contrarian who enjoyed Batman V Superman. (Nerds and movie critics seem to have decided it's bad.) There was some things that could've been better. Lex Luthor seems to lack motivation other than he's Lex Luthor. Jesse Eisenberg's Luthor is a bit irritating. Any other comments are spoilerific. I was skeptical of Ben Affleck as Batman at first, but he won me over. Gadot was a decent Wonder Woman. If you don't like Zack Snyder's previous films, you probably won't like this one. If you are on the fence, probably wait for the video release. The movie like Watchmen with different characters, a different outcome and a different story.... No, really, it's a bit more like that than Man of Steel. While following up on events from MAN OF STEEL, this really isn't a Superman Sequel per se, it's really what the title says it is. I'm actually more optimistic for the Justice League movie now. I do think they need to lighten the mood for that a bit, though. Maybe the R-rated cut, Dawn of Just Tits, will be even better.

I enjoyed Smallville so much that I really don't want to ruin those memories of Superman and Lex Luthor. I did watch Man of Steel. I hated how Superman doesn't have any red underwear. I mean, Superman was afraid of anything, even wearing red underwear on the outside of his pants.
I'll probably watch it on video...or when it comes to our $4 theater.

I will post one not-really-a-spoiler thing that bugged me. Unless I misunderstood something, Gotham City and Metropolis are within sight of each other. Like just across some bay or something. WTF? Gotham is supposed to be a warped version of NYC and Metropolis is usually equated with being somewhere in the midwest like Chicago.

Yeah, I always liked that about Marvel, they just used New York...and other real places. Maybe Metropolis is supposed to be more like Washington D.C? Get it? DC

I enjoyed it too, and I didn't see that coming because of what Ben Affleck did to Daredevil. If I was making movies, I would have kept him as far away from Batman as possible. However, he did a pretty good job, and I don't have any complaints about his Batman/Bruce Wayne character. I did kind of hate they had to have Bruce Waynes parents murder shown again...I get that Christain Bale didn't want to do more Batman movies, and he's getting older, so it's time to pass that torch. Special Effects wise, I didn't understand how the Bat-Mobile was able to drive through buildings with minimal damage, and still able to function. During his fight with Super-Man, and getting thrown through a few buildings and walls, I think he would have at least got the wind knocked out of him no matter how much he worked out before hand. Still, somehow it felt believable, so only minor movie magic complaints here. I do hate the new Batcave being in a lake/river that opens up a garage...this kind of design would need a team of engineers and highly skilled workers to accomplish it's construction...so much for secrecy right? I also lost count of how many people Batman killed. This kind of discredits Chrostopher Nolans Batman trilogy and all the work that was involved in that. Also I wanted to know how Batmans suit in the archive was vandalized by the Joker? Did I miss something in the Suicide Squad movie? I also hated that film. Lex Luthor, I don't think anyone will ever be able to top Michael Rosenbaum from Smallville. It still bothers me Superman doesn't wear any red underwear on the outside of his pants. Like Lex Luthor, I also prefer Smallville's Tom Wellings portrayal of the Superman character, and wish they used him for these movies too. With all of these different actors playing the same characters it just feels wrong, and it's a hard thing to get past when watching for me. It just feels like cosplayers pretending to be these characters, which is all actors are really doing anyway I liked Wonder Woman...but I've always been her #1 fan I look forward to seeing her own movie.

Right on about the Batcave. I'd forgotten.
This Batman isn't Nolan's, it's a different "universe". Has to be. In Suicide Squad it lists one of Harley Quinn's crimes as being an accessory to the murder of Robin.
Suicide Squad was the burn-out for comic book films for me. Made me uninterested in seeing Dr. Strange, which is apparently good. Still, origin stories get so tiresome.

At least Marvels been pushing for consistency with it's actors and characters...except for Spiderman...and the Hulk :-)
I'm excited to see the next Wolverine film, Logan.
I also want to watch Agents of Shield. I heard Ghost Rider is in it now. I never got through watching the first episode of season one though.

Ghost Rider was in the first part of the current season. Will he return? I dunno. He also uses a car not a motorcycle leading to "Ghost Driver" jokes. Honestly, I think it's a mediocre show...Ghost RIder improved it, but still just okay at best.
FX's LEGION is well made, but it's a constant head trip...literally. About a super powerful mutant who was treated like he was schizophrenic and maybe he actually is. Lots of journeys into his mind and past. I don't know how long that will be interesting.
