Finally, light up eyes!  But honestly, how many Mumm-Ra's do we need? Regular version Toy Version Before Transformation version Before Transformation Glow-in-the-dark version Dream Catcher Version ...And finally, light up eyes version *That's a lot of Mumm-Ra!* I really hope they don't just do glow-in-the-dark eyes for Lion-O, and we get the full light-up effect. |

Light up eyes LION-O!!! YAY! So happy! Bonus they finally updated his elbows and knees so no more peg holes! They already did that with Evil Lion-O, so I knew this was coming at some point. However, I wish they used LJN versions of the figures, but that's okay.     Ghost Grune looks cheap   |

So, I've been going through Thundercats toon here and there.
In season 2...
Lion-O's Anointment Trials, which is the finale episodes of season 2. However, airred here then many episodes again there, and then the final part, where he defeats Mum-Ra is not even the last episode of season2.
So, basically, you need to watch all the season 2 episodes except for these five, then these five, ending on Lion-O's Anointment Final Day: The Trial of Evil. But, oddly, you have a nice multi-part story, but do not air them together (as doing so builds excitement with the kids day after day). Imagine Revenge of Cobra airing randomly here and there for GIJoe.

Reminds me of how they aired Transformers with Skyfire showing up before he was introduced, along with the other two Dino-Bots before they were even constructed.

Ebony Mumm-Ra looks very orc-ish. I like it.
It's interesting that you mention Lion-O's anointment trials.
When my dad said I wasn't allowed to watch Thundercats and He-Man anymore...of course I tried to sneak as much as possible...
And the episodes I happened to actually see?
I caught all of the anoitnment trial episodes.
And let me tell you, missing a bunch of episodes, and then watching a random episode two weeks later and it picked right up where I left off...it was very mysterious and gave me Twilight Zone goosebumps.
I mean, what are the odds of catching those episodes at random?
