I'll make a thread for whatever crap is revealed there (such a positive attitude). They are finally making the Rathar from Force Awakens. Someone at star wars board said they'd make a decent Cobra-La creature. Maybe. I might get one (on clearance )

New articulated 3 3/4" scale Wampa (comes with 5 point articulated Luke) New articulated Probe Droid with 5 POA Vader (including a snowtrooper would've been to kind, including Han would've made sense)
Vintage collection. Dr. Aphra (did she win the fan poll?), Imperial tank driver from Rogue one...and a lot of Force Awakens and Rogue One repacks.
Vintage collection Imperial Tank from Rogue One...it will have working treads...yeah, it was not a hovercraft. Probably cost a small fortune.
6" scale Dewback with Sandtrooper...WHAT IS HASBRO OBSESSION WITH SANDTROOPERS?

Storm Troopers that don't make it through the manufacturing process pristine white, so they send the defects off to Sand Trooper development...just my theory.

Didn't feel like making a new thread.
Sith Troopers so far is the only thing that has caught my eye. Red Storm Troopers, I like them better than the Royal Guards, these guys can turn their heads. Sith Troopers should have light sabers though IMHO.
Oh, Sideshows statues of all the X-men are cool. However, anything beyond 6" scale IMHO deserves the effort to do a lifesize attempt...stuff just looks odd to me the bigger things are, but not 1:1...it takes away the fantasy to me. Just my two cents.
Speaking of 6", Hasbro seems to be doing a Jabba's Palace, possibly Rancor in that scale...I still feel that this scale does not belong in Star Wars. You will never have an X-wing or Millenium Falcon to go with these SPACE figures. Well, I think they did make a TIE-Fighter, so maybe you will one day see an X-wing. Have fun displaying that. I had the EFX studio scale model a while back...that X-wing was freaking huge!!! and technically only 1/24 scale. I imagine Hasbro would use that size and just stick a 1/18 figure and droid in it. So yeah, I know how challenging that thing will be to display.
So if you guys notice anything cool at SDCC 2019, please post it :-)

I never did get a Rathar.
Not much of interest in SDCC for me, except maybe MOTU Origins, but no Mer-Man shown and the WWE MOTU crossover is a big WRF?

Those MOTU Origins figures look really weird to me because of their knee joints. That line seems kind of weird to pursue after doing the classics run. They should just do reissues or variants IMHO.

Yeah, the knee joints are odd.
Yeah, MOTUC would be mostly reissues. There's little to future for that line it seems. Super 7 bungled it with quality issues and may have now lost the license. More New Adventures of He-Man figures will probably never get made, and the movie figures will be stuck at those 4. Snake Mountain is the line's TOMBSTONE, I guess. Maybe, just maybe if Super 7 can still make figures at some point, they'll do more filmation ones.
I think Mattel wants a new wave of nostalgic collectors, ones that mostly didn't get into MOTUC, which of course was ONLINE only, aside from some TRU sets with DC characters in them (a big mistake, IMHO, they should've made MOTUC two packs).
I wrote "WRF" in my post. WTF does that stand for?

I was confused by WRF, lol! I thought it might have had something to do with wrestling. I wouldn't know, I've been out of the ring too long. The best looking stuff to me has to do with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Somehow this franchise is still going strong. Cartoon Turtle Figures This Fall
