I also hated that He-Man was the strongest man in the universe, but literally EVERYONE has the exact same body. Those same details about Skeletor bugged me too :-)
And why do they call it Grayskull when the entire castle is green?
I should paint my castle black, and the skull gray. Would look cool for my Anti-He-Man.
Also on that TV show made for toys, they go over with the guy who did the concept design for Castle Grayskull and he made it just like the mini-comics, but He-Man was too small to fit in the doorway.

Reminds me of a youtube video some british geek was explaining to his girlfriend that Castle Greyskull wasn't Skeletor's headquarters, and everything she said made her out to be a passive-aggressive bitch and you could tell his life probably sucks. LOL.
I saw pics of Teela and from the back, yeah. hips are too wide, like her outfit is too small. Teela's got the freshman 15. I see what you meant about the visible hip joints, too.

*Update, I actually compared my custom Hordak with the FIlmation one, the Filmation one is better. Even with Rubber bone collar, I will probably switch that out though.
Mattel nailed it with Evil Lynn (except for some crappy paint apps). Don't know why the Filmation Teela is so difficult.
Castle Grayskull was sometimes Skeletors lair in the mini-comic it seemed, mainly before they released Snake Mountain.
I already have the Sorceress, but the wings DO SUCK, and I hate not having alternate hands. I may break down and get the new one..but after that I'll probably avoid any future releases.
The Tactical Battle Platform (I think that's what Johnny Turk got), is another perfect item to help build the Slaughter House.

The 10 Fast Blast Viper I got from China (some coupon sale, I think i paid like $25) and Battle Cat for 50 cents from a resale shop, plus the plastic mountain ($2.50) from a different resale shop.

You can break off those missile leg attachments easily with just a regular old pair of pliers. You can probably just use a permanent marker to color in the broken area. I seem to remember doing this a long time ago. Nice Crimson army score.

Interesting idea. But they don't bother me much, also I have extra missiles from those Neo-Vipers from waaaay back in 2002. Probably not enough for 10 guys, but..
Also, wondering why this is only ARAH left from any China grey market sellers that I'm aware of. Years ago, there to be Undertows (red) and even Fireflys (red). I guess people tired of crimson? Or the leg things are a turn off? Same seller has various nu-sculpt Neo-Viper variations for the same price (or less for t-crotch).

Ordered Raygorr off of ebay. There's just too many Warduke parts on him to pass up :-)

Damn, he got here quick! Got to say this is probably the best figure I've gotten in a long time. This guy IS Warduke...like before he became possessed by the ruby stone and the ring of power. The paint job is stellar. The sword and dagger are bright. The parts are easily interchangeable. I popped the head and shoulder armor on my Barbarian Builder figure to see how it looked, fantastic! I pre-ordered the next release of Attlus the Conqueror, and he's got the left arm, loin cloth and a silver hand that more matches his original look.

I'm just going to call him who he is, Warduke. He came with two leather straps, I threw them on the Barbarian Body Builder. Ultimately, I'll forge a single one that represents the original toy look. I may have to get another one.

Neat. He needs a chain mailed left arm and leg...which begs the question what was that mail attached to, his underwear?

Yeah, I still need to get a knight or another figure with those chain mail parts, but that's easy and those figures are more common or more easily acquired.
Putting this guy together has got me wanting to grab more Mythic Legions stuff. I don't know how far down the rabbit hole I'll go, but right now, I'm just happy to be close to completing Warduke :-)

First major yard sale finds. Some super star wars collector was downsizing his collection, and he talked for 15 minutes, mostly him bragging, and after I left it occurred to me "this guy and those like him are why I cannot find jack shit locally". Because he had contacts and friends at stores to hook him up, he was buying whole cases, he was getting the clearance stuff that never even made to the shelves. He seemed nice enough, but...wow. Dude must've spent a fortune over the years. The loose figures were childhood figures from some guy who had them in his garage for years. Paid 3 bucks for all of them, but they are rough shape. Zartan has black paint on his forehead, doesn't look like model paint. Odd.
