 So, Sony is selling this PS4 Slim with Spider-Man for 200 bucks during the holiday season. I traded in my old one, the trade in value at Gamestop is 140, plus an extra 25 bucks special. So, I paid basically 40 bucks to upgrade my orginal 500 GB PS4 to a 1TB. Also get Spider-Man. Not a bad deal. Also bought that clear controller. They are on sell for 40 bucks. I am almost done with Vice City. Plan on playing the Resident Evil Remake which I own but never got around to once I am done. Very happy at this moment. |

I ordered the last 3 3/4" Black Series wave from Entertainment Earth during their black friday sale for $15 with free shipping. Because I really wanted a super articulated Rose Tico figure. Also, they are showing up at Tuesday Morning...but I've been there twice and found nada. I dunno. I was hesitant...because not big on the sequels. But if i came across any of the 4 figures for $4 each i'd buy them...so I'm saving a dollar...sort of.
According to their records the last thing I got from EE was two sets of the GI JOE BJ's sound attack 8-pack back in 2004. I paid $40+ for them both. Seems like a waste of money now, because none of those figures were hard to get later without the big packaging.

I haven't got a PS4 yet, that's a sweet deal though.
I probably won't be doing video games again since I refuse to "pay to play" on a monthly basis. Not only that, but all of the DLC, downloads, custom skins, codes, cheats, ect that you need to buy. I seriously can't believe the gaming community caved into that con. I haven't had internet for like two months now? Seems like forever, lol.
Only thing new I've got are some Mythic Legions figures I preordered from the kickstarter like 2 years ago. They're cool, I didn't open them. Probably will keep them. Those are the only toys that interest me anymore. Moved on from He-Man...at least the Filmation stuff Super7 is doing, I swear it's all crap. I did notice bigbadtoystore has statues from the Dungeons & Dragons animated series...they look great, but I'm done with statues, they break too easily.

If you're smart about it, there's plenty of old games for cheap. You basically opt out of new games and lag behind a few years, but the thing is, I don't play online games, only single player stuff, so I am good.

Got SOLO's Moloch and Hoth Leia for $2.50 clearance at Kroger. Funny I could probably sell Hoth Leia and make a few bucks even though she's being reissued in a plastic tube with a mini comic...but that's $10. I dunno. Why do I look at the aftermarket for things I bought to keep?
