I like them. I watched Civil War a few times on Netflix, it's great. Nice score :-)

* The PlayStation Classic is down to 25 bucks. I got it just for the novelty of it. It's nice I terms of display, but I doubt I'd play it. * Ganon rocks, my favorite Nintendo villain. I have 11 amiibos now. * The Rogue in that three pack has a production error. Two of the same hands. I'll replace that fig down the line, but not now. Annoying.

I bet the Playstation is a blast :-) Baby Cyclops I thought they would never do Longshot. Havok was one of my favorites, and I would often get those two mixed up. Psylock looks really good!!!

Some stuff from 2 weekends ago. Free Flash, quarter each for the others, the arms were in a baggie for $1. (Kalibak and Gorilla Grodd). Other stuff, can you believe a vintage Shogun Warrior incomplete for $1? I thought maybe they reissued them at some point? Never encountered any used.

Is the new skiff any different from the old one?

Looks good, not a bad price either. Have you seen they are releasing the retro figures on the original cards? LINKLooks like they went with the big head for Han Solo, why...I don't know. Poor choice. It sucks they placed the Retro sticker on the card, apparently they can come off with a hair dryer but may leave a mark or residue on the card. Still, it would be really neat to have these. I have the 4 pack from the Kenner rerelease in the late 90's. It had Han (small head), Chewbacca, Vader and Luke. Probably my favorite Star Wars figures, I just prefer the Originals. It's quite tempting to pull me back in.

I've never seen them in person besides the board game with Tarkin at Target. I'd like to have the retro style Tarkin, but not at $20.
I'd have color correct Han Solo and used the small head, and made new arms for Vader and Luke. But I guess the point isn't improving old Kenner, just recreating. Meh. I can barely rationalize buying the new-new stuff that comes out and I'm behind buying what I wanted.

I love the lightsaber in the arm gimmick :-)
Getting that Luke Skywalker as a kid was like the happiest moment of my life :-) My family was struggling at the time, and if I remember correctly figure was $1.99 I had to get an advance on my allowance, and my mom had just got finished returning some kind of item at K-mart...the returns were in the back of the store then, and there was one small toy stand, the kind that can hold figures and spin. It was the only time I ever saw that version of Luke. Had we not been returning something, never would have saw it. Also, I felt bad asking my mom for it, I can remember how stressed she looked about money, and I felt bad for asking for it...my sister knew how rare a find it was, and helped convince mom to do it.

It's interesting how the comic looks like they used Duke instead of Hawk. Those two characters will always be the same dude in my universe.
I never saw King Kong.
X-men are cool. I always think of the 90's cartoon theme song. A buddy of mine put on his facebook profile under education: Xaviers School for Gifted Youngsters.

That's interesting about Duke/Hawk being the same guy for you, does that mean Duke became a general? Also, I vaguely remember some concept for GIJoe the Movie having Falcon connected to Hawk as a family member.
The King Kong remake is very solid. Naomi Watts is very pretty in it. As with big Jackson "epics", might be a bit long. LOL
Hmmm... I've been buying these steelcases, one thing I realized, I don't actually have a 4k player. I've just been streaming digital copies of my movies over VUDU. Might just buy an X-Box One S to serve as a budget one tomorrow. Blah.

The whole Duke/Hawk thing for me starts out from the original 1982 line. When the cartoon came out and Mass Device premiered, a lot of the characters from 1983 that make an appearance hadn't made it to the toy isles yet. Duke was clearly the G.I.JOE leader, and had blonde hair. I couldn't understand why they were calling Hawk, "Duke." Even during the first episode Snake-Eyes, Stalker and Scarlet are the first few other characters introduced, all from 1982. Eventually I acquired a Duke figure and accepted this was a different character.
But then I started reading the comics, and Hawk and Duke always looked like they were twins. In the cartoon, Hawk never gained the popularity Duke had. And in the comic book, Duke is rarely seen, while Hawk is major character throughout the entire series. In my world, when Duke became G.I.JOE team leader, he received a special promotion to General. I let Hawk be his code name, and Duke be his nickname. I also let Duke's filecard be his real self, while Hawks filecard info is fake for security purposes to protect his real identity. Being the team leader, his info is double classified :-) That's how I explain it. Duke had a thing with Scarlet, but it didn't last because he's a player, and she fell in love with Snake-Eyes. The cartoon General Hawk I see him as General Flagg.
Anyway, that's how I make sense of it.
The comic did the same thing with Falcon and Flint. That doesn't work so good in the cartoon world because of the movie.
