The Executioner redeems himself, and was only really a villain because his only other choice was death. He had two M-16's that he named "Des" and "Troy"...this happened in Thor Ragnarok.

Some late September clearance aisle finds. $4 Star Wars Resistance figures. Not bad for what they are..., but the pink girl's left arm popped out and doesn't seem to go back in right. It'll probably tear at the joint some time knowing my luck. And Tora's face paint mask ops are off. I almost regret not waiting until I found better example somewhere down the road. $5 for the Black Widow vs Ryu Marvel game whatever 2-pack...I don't care about video games. Black Widow has a cute new head sculpt. Same body they've used at least 4 times, and her holsters and her hands don't hold her pistols very well. Also, one lower leg warped from packaging, haven't tried to fix. Oh, boy, reminds me why I don't buy much new stuff. Ryu is...okay. He's tall by 1:18 scale and has swappable fist hands...no actual holding hands. This is as close to modern Street Fighter 2 in GI JOE as we'll get.   |

Scarlet looks good!
Figures with helmets are always cool.
I'm not really into games anymore, but Street Fighter was huge when I was in high school. I always liked it was connected to G.I.JOE. Even the animated movie was pretty awesome. Ryu looks good.

I've been wanting to get that two pack, didn't know she has a new head. One of these days... Resistance, a blink and you missed it Star Wars project. Think Lucas made a mistake cashing out. ho hum.

I love Quicksilver in the X-men movies :-)
The Japanese intro to the classic cartoon is pretty cool...I still prefer the American one, the music is epic.
Still, this is pretty neat :-)

That intro seems like a parody of typical Japanese intros. The kids watching the cartoon after it must've been a bit let down.
I got a $6 Vintage Collection Hoth Rebel at OLLIES. No pictures. They had 3 more and a lot of Force Awakens Reys, but no other TVC 2018 figures. They had the hard to find SOLO series 2 two-packs but were $8 which is not what I wanted to pay, so i passed on them. Oh, well. They had 20+ Solo 6 inch figures of just HAN SOLO. Who is sorting these cases?

  Some of the new stuff that's come in the mail last couple days: Collector vs Civil Warrior Hyro-Man Spider-Woman Magento Vision Decent haul. Hyro-Man needs some water add on to one of his hands. Odd that they didn't give him that. I'll have to track down Scarlet Witch go with Vision eventually, but she goes for more. I think the Spider-Woman fig is pretty neat with the webbing on her. |

Meijer had that two pack on clearance but they sold out before they got cheap enough for me to consider. I didn't really care about either character enough to pay 10 bucks for the pack.
Got an Ollie 15% off coupon, may go back to Ollies and get more Hoth Rebels. I didn't realize it's a repaint, much whiter coat than the first releases.

  I got these for 10 bucks off of Amazon, but I cashed in on a 10 dollar gift card, so it only cost me a buck. Something odd with BW's legs. Hard for her to stand. Ryu is kind of cool, but I'd rather a Chun-Li fig if we're doing Street Fighter 2 stuff. |
