Gift cards all the way. I stopped getting my stepmother crap because she'd never open it or eat it (chocolate oranges...sat around until some bugs got in it.) So Meijer or Target card for her. If she's dumb enough to waste the money, fine. Just as long as I never see another mint DVD I paid $15 to $20 for (that's now worth zilch years later.) Amazon has some figures under $5. Obi-Wan Clone Wars realistic Weequay (just paid $10 for him ) Prune Face Nien Nunb Lumat the ewok Wedge Antilles Qui Gon Jin Bariss Offee Under $3.50 Aurra Sing Mawhonic Naboo Pilot Gungan Warrior Bom Vimdim Downside is they are add-ons (except Bom and Bariss), meaning you ahve to buy a regular item to "add them on"...no limit to add-ons, just that you have to buy a regular item.

I went ahead and got the two main Hoth sets I was missing, Hoth Recon and Search for Skywalker. Hoth Recon has the Probe Droid and Astromech, rest of the set is useless to me (Han, Another Chewbacca, & Protocol droid I already have). Search for Skywalker is a good set, more Tauntaun. Only things I'm still missing is a Wampa, Bacta tank, FX-7 medical droid and the orange astromech. Bravo, I found a good use for the weequay drummer. Switch his hands with Weequay for better gripping hands on the pike instead of two trigger fingers. The card ran out of memory when I took pics earlier, here's the Ewoks.

Merry Christmas you guys I asked for a new jacket this year and I got that and some other clothes and candy. The dog got some new toys. Good year. Han Solo and the Tauntaun got here. Tauntaun is awesome, Han is okay I guess. He does fit on the animal. Only thing I really need for Hoth still is a Wampa. Overall I feel pretty exhausted on Star Wars, but Ive been strongly considering revisiting the Transformers Masterpiece figures. Those things are incredible. Anyway, hope you guys had a good one. ~Felix

Got a Kindle Fire. Not sure what that is, some sort of camping equipment. I missed both Taun Taun sets, foolishly waiting for clearance. Not paying after market prices for them. People were saying the new ones were too big...debatable. Speaking of past releases, I finally opened my Jabba Throne set...Looking at the order invoice...I got January 4th! I forgot I got the set a few times. It's a let down for me, though. The throne is good, Crumb is decent, Oola is well articulated but the soft goods are a bit messy at this scale and her plastic seems cheaper than carded figures. But the real letdown is Jabba...kinda sucks. Looking at the photo on the box, looking at the figure...they didn't get him well...his body is too short. He should be taller than his hooka bowl. Not happy that I rubbed some paint off trying to get the rope that held him in the box, either. Why didn't I cut that rope. The rubber lower body seems cheaper quality than it should be, as well. They did a better job on the clone wars version of the character. I'd even say I like vintage Kenner more than this one, even with that old one's limitations. Anyway, I didn't pay much for him and his throne is a must have for the palace set-up. Maybe they'll improve Jabba someday. Oh, yeah, I understand exhausted on Star Wars. I've bought more in the past two months than the whole rest of the year combined. I'm burned out now a bit...maybe that's why I'm not loving this set I put off a year opening. Also, still annoyed, some mice chewed up a figure or two and some accessories...they were in baggies, too. I guess they smelled that the cats were gone? I keep finding birdseed and dog food that they have stashed in drawers and boxes. Worst mouse problem we've had ever. Need to improve my storage methods and keep putting poison out.

Bummer about the mice. My Jabba is taller than the hooka, maybe yours got squished? It isn't the best quality. I avoided the set because it was a Walmart exclusive and I don't want to buy anything that supports them directly. The Power of the Jedi Oola had much better likeness IMHO. I'm sure we'll see Jabba again when ROTJ gets a 3D release.

Hey Renegades,
We recently reissued the Tim Mee Battle Mountain as a stand alone accessory.
Hope this helps,
