X-Men First Class Marvel Girl and Cyclops Hmmm.... Wasn't Scott's nickname "Slim" because he was skinny back in the day? This figure is bulked up. Heh.

Artist Jim Lee bulked up Cyclops in the early 90's.
I bought a few things. I already regret. January is not a good time for me to kick old habits.

Well, "First Class" would be them as teens. LOL.
My rule is to try to only buy one thing a month (unless I cash in on the Surveys I do from time to time).

This isn't really anything new, but I recently discovered the box art for the Battle Wagon has Mercer operating the gunners seat. I was already letting him have it, but I never noticed the box art till now. It's also interesting to me that Grunt is in the picture.

Who's driving the Battlewagon? Can we even tell? Also, Europe changed the artwork. also:

I can't tell who's driving.
The vehicle would make a better Mad Max custom for War Boys.

Omaga Red, I also pulled out the comic he first appeared in. This is a Jim Lee creation. Plays into old Soviet stock villain stuff. He has a "mutant death factor", kind of a c-list villain. I can't remember anything much about him or any stories. A big brute with tentacles basically. LOL

He's so 90's. I remember his Toy Biz figures and wondering "Who is that?" So many odd X-Men characters got toys before more significant Marvel ones, it seems funny now.

Jim Lee's biggest X-Men creation would be Gambit. Whilce Portacio created Bishop. Rob Liefeld, the most love him or hate him type artist of the Image hotshots, created Deadpool and Cable. Deadpool, of course, becoming the most popular of those. Jim Lee is the most talented of those artists imo, but Rob, you can make a case for being a more creative mind, even if scripts and draftsmanship aren't his strong points.

Here's a lot of comics I got, as well as a Link amiibo to go along with the game I just bought on my Switch.

Recent past month stuff, mostly Five Below finds.. I got the Lukes for $2 at Wal-Mart. I don't collect that new 5" stuff, but they have some resell value. A cereal box. I ate the cereal, because those people who try to preserve entire unopened boxes of foodstuffs for decades are weirdos.

I think Daredevil has the best movie/series for a comic character. I like those Solo figures. Mythic Legions has their versions of She-Ra and Hordak up for pre-order Mythic Legions StuffI want the knight figure they are rereleasing for my Warduke's arm and thigh.

What kind of animal is in that cage, Bravo? The monster Corellian hound from SOLO's opening act, the criminal gang tracks Solo and Qi'ra to the space port or whatever. It's in a two pack with the Rebolt, the human in the long coat.
