I feel like most collectors these days are in the 6inch game.
As cool as this Skystriker is, most fans are probably bummed it's not 6inch scale.
I'm kind of excited about it.
They did a really nice job upgrading it.
Kind of false advertising with the collector tin being 85' Snake Eyes.

I hadn't noticed yet.
Sky Striker already close to 3000 backers. Given the time, it might make it to the Scarlett unlock. And that's a strange figure. Scarlett's head on Ace's body? Is that the final thing?

I definitely think it will fund.
Scarlett with Ace's body annoys me because it means she has a man's crotch/backside. LOL
The big flop was Cookie Monster from HasLab.
They had to extend Unicron, but it made it.

Wile approaching half-way to funded quickly, I'm still skeptical the ground crew will make it. The made the worst unlock the first unlock...but that's how it usually is.
I hadn't looked at the price of that Storm Shadow/Snake-Eyes set. $40. Yeah, Mattel can make improved retro MOTU for $15 (well, going up in price now). Hasbro retro o-rings...not really improved. $20 each. Call it out as greed and get the usual 'for collectors", limited edition, "toy prices have gone up" spiel. Not buying it and well, not buying the set.

I'd rather just a Scarlett with a pony tail than Ace with Scarlett's head. Night Force Ripcord is ok. The two figs.. .10 bucks. The case 20 bucks. That's the justification. Also, improved orings, yo ! Why doesn't the aftermarket oring sellers sell these improved orings already?

Ground crew would be essential if/when they do a Flagg.
Which maybe that will happen depending on how well this does?
Skystriker come back is probably more inspired on the upcoming (and extremely delayed) Top Gun movie sequel.
I haven't decided if I'll get it. Probably not. Even though all of the exhaust add-ons look really neat.

If you can swing it, there's no downside to backing it as even if you decide you don't want it, can easily flip it for a nice profit.
I do want it, but need to see where I'm at come December. A buddy of mine backed it today. It's also passed Rancor. There's supposed to be a Ghostbusters prop backpack haslab upcoming also, but prop buyers are a completely different deal than toy collecting.
I question whether a Flagg will ever happen. The price point would be insane. I think they'll do more ultimate versions of vehicles. Killer Whale is a possibility as an example.

So Scarlett does wear a blue flight suit in season 2 episode, Not a Ghost of a Chance, and flies a Conquest and part of the search for Ghost prototype I believe.

Aftermarket seems to always be at least double the price.

The price of recent Haslabs make the FLAGG unlikely. Maybe the back wall of the Flagg like the Star Wars "playsets" they keep making.
It's just over 4,000 backers...good for this early, yet...that's slowed a lot from the initial days. 18,000 to get the flight crew might be unlikely. Some thing speculators will buy them, but that's a long term investment for resellers. I tend to think most of those types liek to flip stuff as soon as possible.

The Razor's Crest ended up with over 28,000 backers. So I wouldn't count out Sky Striker getting all its stretch goals.
The size of Flagg would make it over 1,000 dollars and I don't see it happening. I see more vehicle offerings being the future... however somerthing like a TerrorDrome or JoeHQers as an outside chance.
Rancor doesn't have any of its stretch goals announced, which seems foolish.

The Skystriker is neat. I'm 50/50 on if I'll back it, though leaning towards backing. I'm an idiot who really likes 82-84 style figures.
I don't understand people's thought process on the FLAGG, it's never going to happen. I'm unsure if there's anything else Joe related that could be made via Haslab, there's nothing big enough, that's iconic enough that would get people to put cash up for. The Skystriker probably isn't even the thing, but people have been starved for G.I. Joe for so long.

Well, the Rattler redone could be one. Pilot Baroness as a second figure or stretch goal.
And the comic book Cobra transport copter...hahaahahahaha....never happen.

The Ghostbusters Proton Pack is at 3010 right now. Good start.
It will be impressive assuming all 3 of these get funded.
