I was redoing my display area. Got some new shelves. I figured I may as well open my shot Robotech figures, since on most of them the card and bubble is dmaged. I'm a dumbass and forgot to take after pictures, though These are all Harmony Gold Versions. I have the Matchbox Robotech Master, but left him as a testament to the greatest shelf warmer ever made. He's got a .25 cent markdown tag from kaybee. The 3 main variants with Robotech figures are; Matchbox made in Japan, more paint apps, sloppy paint masks. Matchbox made in China, less paint apps, but better paint masks. Harmony Gold made in China, less paint apps, different colors, different paint masks. Harmony Gold also produced 2nd series Minmay and Myria in Zentradi battle armor, which were never released originally. They did not re-release Lunk, though. Which makes him the rarest figure overall. Only Matchbox released the 6 inch figures, which were made in Japan.

LOL. I had a MOC Robotech Master, got him like 1991 or 1992 probably at a Kay-Bee's.
Never really watched the show since it did air where I lived, but the figures got some play. Which shows that a 3 3/4" toy line with ARAH articulation was fun even if the only thing you know about their story comes from the packaging.

I loved the Robotech series, particularly the New Generation. Post apocalyptic animation, yeah! The cyclones are the greatest invention known to man. Never knew about a Rook Bartley or Lunk figures.

I've only ever seen Lunk in pictures. I still need to clean up that Cyclone I got last Christmas.

That's a pretty sick Robotech collection. I've never seen all the figures together, very cool. The Veritechs are really impressive.
