Strike Force Alpha action Figures

We sculpted rivets on our arms, so they still look like vintage figures. We eliminated the O-ring which is prone to breakage and replaced with a ball and socket.

So o-rings...but no o-rings. Fake rivet style elbows and shoulders...why bother with that silliness. It's not like fans are nostalgic for visible rivets, even if they prefer o-ring format.

$25 a figure...just too much for me. If I were rich I'd go all in and get my likeness on 10 figures, order 225 special colored whatevers. But I ain't.

It looks... off brand.

The Master's artwork reminds me of Unmasked Deadpool, but the figure reminds me of wacky diet Coke Destro.

I just don't know what I'd do with these. If I were interested in o-ring stuff at this point, I'd just buy old Joes.

The more I look at them, the more I agree. They seem like knock-offs than the bold new collector toy they wanted. Also, Black Major can bootleg Joes for less than $25 a figure and, while their quality may vary, those are more compatible than Strike Force Alpha looks.

These kind of remind me of that strange "O-RINGS ARE BACK" line that was announced at some Convention in like 2007 or 08, I can't remember it's name, do you Bravo?

O-ring with modern articulation is pretty iffy concept, especially when it's not even a "real" O-ring figure. Is there even a market for these kind of figures? G.I. Joe is pretty moribund, so a non-compatible line shouldn't be setting the world on fire, but what the hell do I know. If people like 'em, more power to 'em, I personally don't give a damn, and have no interest in these.

S.K. Omega? The one that had an eye-patched enemy chick and a planned 3D actual plastic H.I.V.E. missile command base? I could not remember the name at first, but recalled the HIVE set. Some art of the proposed line was at Deviantart. Art is dated 2010.
