Oh, boy. Destro is hideous. Stick with just one Python pattern color! He rivals Pimp Daddy Destro. They kept his silver head and gloves. I guess they wanted to keep something recognizable about him. Baroness is maybe lazy or safe. They stick with a darker scheme for her, mostly she just changed leotards or something. The red glasses are interesting, though. Red weapon, but vintage PP had no red accessories. CC looks like he's wearing funky pj's and house cleaning gloves. And the return of CC's red shoes! BAT, well, at least Super 7 remember that Python Patrol figures should have the pattern. It's odd how much is kept, the black head and yellow trim. Scarlett, doo-doo rust brown leotard. Saaaxy! Not really very interesting. Make her gloves the same color as her weapon...not the best choice. Snake-Eyes, they went the yellow with black stripes route again. It's a strange they took more risks here with a brighter scheme. They could've done green or brown with stripes. The package makes it more mustardy, like TF Lifeline. Too bad the figure didn't go that route. The bare hands is a surprising thing. Duke, what we'd expect. No brown hair. Green Shirt, why the goggles down version? I dunno. Why an army builder at all? So they'll sell better when clearanced? THere were TF remakes to be had with existing molds, Shipwreck and like Roadblock.   |

I kind of like Destro in a stupid sort of way. Duke is probably the 'best.' They just keep reusing molds.

Destro is definitely the boldest recolor, if they'd changed his mask color that really would've pushed it past over the top.

So someone pointed out that Shipwreck and Cobra Trooper appear on the cardbacks. Also, photoshopped toon images on the filecards (except with Snake-Eyes).  |

Cobra Trooper makes sense and as does Shipwreck as he was done internationally and also in that look as collector club deal, however, wake me when we see another new fig (ala Raven).

That's interesting, non removable trooper inside, but it's cartoon style, which never happened as they were robots in the toon. And 11 inches so it goes with just about nothing. Too small for old 12" inchers, too big for Classified or Ultimates. Red Jackal and Rednok. Was not expecting Rednok. Technically she wasn't a villain. I dunno.  City of the Dead...was not expecting...especially with no actual characters, just guardians. It's neat but also maybe too esoteric for average fans.  The Reaction Python Trooper is an SDCC Exclusive...an army builder? Really, Subpar 7?  |

Rednok looks like she would make a decent Diana from "V".
Except they forgot to give the females feminine features like curvy hips and a nice butt.
