Yeah, Bat's head they overdid the cheeks. Odd the Ultimates seems comics based, this one cartoon.
Zartan is billed as being from Revenge of Cobra, but then should his mask look like Colonel Sharp? His head sculpt is better than Hasbro comic pack version.
Half the figures get real accessories and the other have like one item.

Thank God they fixed Shipwreck. Yeah, Bat's head they overdid the cheeks. Odd the Ultimates seems comics based, this one cartoon. The B.A.T.S. cheeks are atrocious. I think I am going to cancel my preorderes for them. The regular version of the B.A.T.S. they did for the Ultimates line IS based and sculpted on the cartoon model. The SDCC Ultimates B.A.T.S. comic version has a different sculpted head based on the comics. |

The first pics were computer generated, I imagine because they didn't have the product on card yet. But I could not imagine they'd have released Shipwreck without that tattoo. They are usually good on details. I don't really care about the BAT as I don't care about troops much in this line tbh.

Ok, watching Cobra Quake this morning and I think I may have found where the shovel Ultimate Flint has is from: He uses a shovel to dig up a Cobra Bomb near the end of the episode when the Joes split into three two man teams to take out the bombs.

Oh, turns out they cheaped out and Zartan doesn't have his color change ability (explanation being, oh plenty episodes where he doesn't change color in sun light, counter point would be it had been driven home in prior episodes and not plot related, so downplayed). I bet down the line they release a color changing version to double dip.

Probably just a mess of brown and dark green all over the figure, jungle camo Zartan.
I practically expect them to straight up sell Duke on a Zartan card. Zartan in Duke disguise! lol.

Not Reaction, but Hasbro is making Indiana Jones retro figure. Kinda meh on that, but Indy himself was one of the hardest figures to get from the vintage Kenner series. I doubt they do a lot more.  |
