This movie is not too gory, I was able to sit through it. I was expecting more humor, kind of like Bruce Campbell style or something based on it's title alone. You should wait till it's out on video for this one...or just skip it altogether SPOILER ALERT!!!! There final battle scene makes no sense whatsoever. There's a train on a bridge where they're fighting the vampires. The bridge is on fire and falling apart behind them. The jump off the train onto the bridge to fight it out, and somehow jump off the bridge and land onto the train again....makes no sense.

I'd already decided to skip it. So had much of the rest of the country. Sci-fi/fantasy movies set in the 1800's or early 1900's don't seem to do well. Wild, Wild West, League of Extraordinairy Gentlemen, Jonah Hex, Cowboys and Aliens....not sure why Hollywood hasn't figured that out yet. I'm iffy on going to see Amazing Spiderman...never was a huge Spider-man fan. Not a franchise reboot fan, either, even if I didn't love the last 3 movies that much.

My friends and I wanted to see Spiderman, but it didn't come out for two more days (they were just here for the weekend).
I don't like Toby, but he played the part well. Seems too soon for a reboot.

A friend of mine is actually in the Abe movie as an extra (he was also in Battleship as a navy red shirt troop). He told me both would be horrible, but he did see Battleship because supposedly he gets killed in it. I have no desire to see either.
I did see Spider-Man, I liked it for what it is, I liked seeing Gwen on the big screen, but I do think they cast too old again. I wish they'd let Spider-Man be a real teenager, not a mid-20 yr old pretending to be a teenager.
