Hasbro recently confirmed this rumor as fact. I don't know how much you guys frequent Star Wars news sites.
Either preorder a $130 case or preorder $13 figures from like Amazon.com and hope you actually get them...in December.
This wave includes: Ahsoka (realistic) Obi-Wan (Clone wars realistic) Orimarrko (Prune Face) Nien Nunb Emperor's Royal Guard Republic Trooper (from the Old Republic game) Lumat (ewok) Weequay
Plus Vintage carded Naboo Pilot, Aurra Sing, Mawhonic and Gungan Soldier, from the Wal-Mart wave earlier this year.
When you thought Star Wars collecting could suck anymore, they find a way to make it so. Why the fuck did they have 8 new figures for the last wave, which always gets shorted? THEY KNOW THIS. Fuck Xmas sales, at that time anyone will buy any shit. Release the good figures sooner, not later.

Yeah, this does suck. Only figure I really want is Weequay, so not a real big deal, but still sucks.

I wanted them all but Obi-Wan. A case is big chunk of money to shell out, though. The only one I've preordered is Royal Guard, because I know how bad hard to find army builders get. I expect Ahsoka and the Republic Trooper will rise in price because for some reason, Expanded Universe stuff is scalper gold even though some collectors don't like EU.

I ordered Weequay and Ahsoka, based on what you just said about EU stuff. I got my CW Ahsoka version I'm perfectly happy with, this one will end up on scalper-bay. I like the card pictures more than I like most of the figures. The Imperial Guard is cool, but I don't even have an Empire to display them with so it's a pass. Maybe one day. Like Ahsoka,, I'm extremely happy with my CW Aurra Sing and have zero desire to get the vintage one.

I was waiting for Wal-Mart to clearance that wave with Aurra Sing (I don't care about the vintage cardbacks), but it seems less likely. Who knows.
