Minor spoilers.
It was okay...above average, maybe. Entertaining and all, and they are getting back to the old stuff, like Q, spy tech and Monnypenny. Seems to tread familiar ground, the baddie is like the wikilinks guy mixed with Sean Bean's character from Goldeneye. He's a little too campy at times.
Two surprises. There's no colorful henchman. No real love interest.
We get some of Bond's history explored which is an iffy idea, because by doing that, you can't use the theory that Craig's Bond is just another agent using JAMES BOND as a code name. He really is Bond.
They are already back to talking about Bond being too old (in the film itself) and stuff, and this is Craig's 3rd movie.
Skyfall was also kinda long, but since it's been 4 years since the last film, more movie makes up for that.
All and all, I'd almost rather pay to see a classic Bond film on the big screen. However, I rewatched parts of DIE ANOTHER DAY recently, and this movie is a Sean Connery film compared to that shitfest.
