Comic Con Star Wars news: Hot Toys is doing a 1/6 Scale TIE-Fighter! And a Millennium Falcon cockpit. The cockpit is cool...for a small part of a big ship...I don't get it. I'm glad I don't collect this line. For two reasons, price and space. Displaying stuff that big is a pain. Even Hasbro vehicles are tough to do. Speaking of the devil himself, Hasbro's new TIE-Fighter looks good. I haven't seen too much else that wowed me.

They cannot/won't reveal more Force Awakens products, so we have to wait until Force Friday or whatever in September to see how they've ruined the 3 3/4" line. Ha! Those 5 point articulation figures are allegedly going up in price to $8 and $15 for two packs. So much for keeping costs down.
How about that SNAKE MOUNTAIN for MOTU?
Also Filmation figures next year. Though it seems to get cartoon Teela you have to buy Point Dread.

I heard there won't be any Mad Max toys from the Fury Road movie, that's a bummer....sooooooooo, I was thinking about making some customs again Particularly, the bald white zombie guys shouldn't be hard to do at all. Trying to make some custom post apocalyptic vehicles could make some really fun projects. I've tried before and never really got to the level I was aiming for. Quality wise. I honestly think I could do a damn good job if I dived into it again, knowing what I know now. I always wanted to do the gyro-copter from the road warrior, and Humungus with his rig. But after seeing Fury Road, I feel like I can make pretty much my own customs, screen accurate or not, and they'll fit in fine for the post-apocalyptic wasteland.... I'm curious what you guys think? A) Just stick to Star Wars, Disney owns all your dreams. B) Transformers have the best toys, everything else sucks, buy Japanese! C) Yo! JOE!!! ALL THE WAY!!!! A REAL American Hero! Made in China. D) He-Man is more fun than all that shit. Just look at Snake Mountain! E) Your customs suck, leave toy making to the professionals. F) Do what you want and have fun with it, isn't that what this is all supposed to be about in the first place?

A. Hasbro has ruined Star Wars figures until I see otherwise. Strong rumours there will be not super articulated 3 3/4" releases on Force Friday (september's Force Awakens retail launch), only 5 point articulated figures (at new inflated prices) and the 6" line that Hasbro really wants collectors to switch to. B. I kinda like the early 80's years, but that's all. Not really a fan. C. Whatever scale they are going for this week. Same dozen characters at retail, everyone else become club bullcrap exclusives. D. Expensive, from what I read, Mattycollector is run by fools E. If it's something they aren't making...who else is gonna? F. If it's still fun... which is why I don't buy much outside of garage sales, it ceased to be fun. Things too hard to find and too expensive. Plus I never do anything with it.
I ripped myself off recently by buy a lot of 5 Snowtroopers from a Hong Kong seller. They use stock photos of their old auctions, and this one showed figures with helmets and backpacks...BUT...the description "Loose, without helmets and backpack!! not as same as the picture", which I failed to notice.
So now I got five stupid clone face jerks...and everyone knows getting loose helmets is so pricey you might as well buy the entire complete figure loose.
I did find a free loose Go-Bots at a yard sale...Spay-C or Spacey, the Friendly Space Shuttle. Suck it, Sky Lynx.

I really liked that Space Shuttle Go-Bot.
In other news, there is a line of 1:18 ALIENS figures happening....going to be hard not to pass that up.

Got Data Viper last year but never opened him.
I found clearance out Reaction 3 3/4" Predator figure at Target for $2.98 each. Got invisible, closed mouth and opened mouth...no regular helmeted ones left. They are clearancing out some Star Wars stuff, too.
Been a long time since I've bought anything new at retail.
