Flea market finds: Gnawgahyde for 50 cents, no accessories, a little scuffed, not bad for his age, really. Valor vs Venom viper for $2...(why did I waste $2? because I hadn't found anything better that point) Various accessory-less clone troopers for 50 cents each, and another Obi-Wan in clone armor from the old shorts. A clone pilot missing parts of his arms for 10 cents (sad) Kenner Bespin Han Solo for 50 cents...pity purchase, he's pretty worn.
In a quarter bin: A Willow movie figurine from the 80's. (Nockmar officer) A vintage Star Wars play-doh mold (Luke) An odd non-poseable Sgt Rock BAD GUYS figure (I barely remember them existing) the seat from a vintage Kenner speeder bike
Free: The roof top of a 1995 AT-ST with the smaller hatch!
Passed up some $2 new sculpt Joes and cobras...had them all in better shape. Passed up a banged up Night Creeper Leader for $2. Passed by some hatless, gunless 2002 bearded Endor Rebels for $2 each...they suck. Secret Wars Kang for $3 (tempting) Concept Art Rebel Speeder for $2 and it's driver for $2 (almost regret that, it's not bad...I have one somewhere already, though)
some guy was selling the ARC-170 with pilots for $30 but it was missing some parts, also had ROTS Jedi Fighter, which I'm sick of buying (he wanted $12 or more for them).

I just ordered some stuff off ebay for Mad Max post apocalyptic customs.... These are my good deals, nothing like Bravo's scores, but I've finally got a plan together for collecting, and I'm really liking it. The Battle Wagon!!!!! I think it was $40 shipped, for a good one. Ironically, I've wanted this vehicle for a long time. It's got Mercer operating the gun turret for the box art, which IMO, makes the vehicle his Also got the Mud-Buster for $20 shipped, seems like it will fit right in with some better paint. I would have just scrapped the parts to find cheaper vehicles, but in these two cases, I really like just about everything on these the way they are. Picked up a couple figures too Dhalsim (for a War Boys custom), and Headhunters Stormtrooper (another thing I've wanted for a long time, but it's always eluded me). First toys I've bought in a LONG time. For me, that means like several months!!! :-) It feels good that they are original Joe's, and I've got plans for them. I'm really liking the idea for doing this stuff. I plan to do some movie accurate things on some projects, and just do my own take on other things. Either way I like how the collection is starting to feel. Just like the toys I grew up with....but now :-)

Battle Wagon is pretty cool. Congrats, Felix. I got this. Works well with Joes, Star Wars, Indy as a backdrop. It has a lot of interesting things, two birds, a magnifying glass, genie in the battle, skull and bone, book, magic wand. I like it.

I got a new dio because my old one was falling apart. Destro, I love this Destro for serveral reasons. All his gear can go in his briefcase. I like the helmet. This is going to be my default Destro now. General Hawk, surprisingly I only own a generic original 12 kind of Hawk, I think it came in a two pack way back when. This is a nice upgrade. He does look a little young, but oh well. Kind of seems Sigma Six like. Future teched out, all that jazz. Leatherneck is big and I fall pray to the dangers out buying online. He has a imperfection in around his chin. Ah well. I like how he looks, but he's soooo big. It doesn't make sense. Gung-Ho, I really like. Don't need all the big gear weaponary, though. Shadow Crimson Guard, the file card says this is just a night operations trooper. Its lame. I'd have rather had it in red. I also thought it would be made out to be the a shadowy troopers behind the scenes for cobra Commander or something. Ah well. Shanna, I just wanted a new female fig. She's ok, not great.

Got some of my ebay items recently, I can't wait to paint this one up like a Mad Max ride. This is the Battle Corps Mud-Buster, that came out in 1993 I think. I want to add one of those tall counter-weights that stick up from the back of the vehicles that the bad guys ride on...maybe some spikes to the wheels. I really like the Headhunter Stormtrooper. He's everything I thought he would be. Can't believe it's taken me so long to acquire this figure. I plan on leaving him as is for my post apocalyptic toy world. Dhalsim I'm going to use for a War Boy custom, one of those guys covered in white...powder :-) Interesting, I didn't realize Dhalsim doesn't have a screw on his back, no thigh screws either, and his head only turns left & right, no ball swivel. I won't let any of that stop me :-)

Bummer about all those spring action feature figures, no back screws.
Garage sale finds: Granok, Auger and Redlen from Inhumanoids. Heavily used Grimlock, Slag...2 Predacons...the lion leader and the Rampage panther. Leader had Predaking's head. Some severely rusted metal on them. Also Brawn in better condition. And a Starcomm guy.
Considering how rarely I find vintage transformers, I often find SLAG. Don't know why. I've found Grimlock before, but I swear I've found Slag 4 times over the past 7 years.

That figure works in the Mad Max universe, just lacks articulation. You would think for a vehicle operator, they would have gone the extra mile and added some bending knee's. 30 years later and we still get stuck with the Biker Scout problem. I can't believe myself. A new Star Wars movie is coming out, and I'm not even batting an eye at the toys for once. I'm totally absorbed in the Mad Max wasteland universe. Got a 1:18 Taxi to use for a Travis Bickle Custom (using Bespin Han Solo as a temp place holder). I will probably paint Han Solo, the figure works really well with the cab. I will also do a G.I. JOE version of Travis with the mohawk. The cab details are almost the same as the movie, some slight differences, but not much really. The cost of the cab fair advertised on the side is slightly different, but the cab is the same vehicle make and basic paint job that it works really well IMHO. It's a 1:18 "FREINDS" Phoebe's taxi for anyone interested. Also, the Battle Wagon arrived :-) I already want another one of these. It works perfectly in the Mad Max universe. Doesn't need anything but a weathered paint job IMO. I'll probably just use it as a War Boys vehicle, but I wouldn't mind throwing Wez, Humungus, or any other wasteland warrior on it.

My Star Wars find was a MIB droid fighters from Episode 1 for 25 cents. I kid ye not. Also, a 2005 Barada for $1.
I've yet to buy any new Star Wars, as it's overpriced for what it is. Basic figures have Build a Weapon? Why not build a droid? Oh, those droids had articulation.
There's supposed to be some wal-mart exclusive Black Series waves with articulated Force Awakens characters...but that's after a 3 figure wave of lame repacks (including a Vader from 2005 or earlier). Kylo Ren, First ORder stormtrooper and the postponed Medal Ceremony Princess Leia from Episode IV
