I always wanted a Mobile Command Center. Seemed like a great base for Slaughter and the Renegades. Although, I have to admit I've always wanted to cannabilize one into a Sandcrawler. Just remove the cockpit and attach it to the top, and flip the tank treads. Then you can still use all the cool stuff inside. The radar dish on the MMC looks like it could work as an Episode 7 Millenium Falcon. Honestly I'm totally jealous right now, the MMC is one of those that always escaped me. When they reissued them for a brief period in 2000, I had my shot, but they were too expensive, like over a hundred.
You should check underneath the WHALE, there's a hatch underneath to store stuff. That WHALE needs the engine fans, some cannons and it can look good. Or...
wait for it....
....
use it as part of the Slaughter House! When you look at it that way, even that Battle Platform thingy doesn't look half bad ;-)

I checked the storage compartment already. LOL. Empty! I did find a Cobra WOLF wheel (goes on the tread) in the MCC.
I have an incomplete 2000's MCC, sadly the mice to it and chewed a bigger hole where the control room chair plugs in. I guess the mice really wanted the maintenance bay as a nest/toilet. I cleaned it up...still annoys me. I think they got my incomplete Rolling Thunder, too.
Between the two MCC's, I still can't complete one!

It is good. The hardest to find parts are there (hoses and nozzles), except the wheels that go on the treads, which aren't need for display, I guess. It's a restoration project, the WHALE is iffy, because those props and rudders are probably pricey since they are fragile. I still have a GENERAL i never restored. Now it's discolored. Damn light colored plastic.
I was looking at the L.A.W. battle station on yojoe...said two versions...2009? I'd totally forgotten they reissued it. Wal-Mart never carried those sets here...I had to buy the Cobra MMS heat seek thing off ebay without the figures, never even tried for the others.

Picked up some figures: 1994 Joe Colton (no gun) 1994 Action Pilot (no helmet) 1992 Big Ben (no gun) I was going to use these for parts for a custom Taxi Driver. Nothing really worked out the way I wanted though. I was going to use Big Bens waist, but it's too small. I went ahead and popped the torso on my Rock N' Roll custom though (the one with Outbacks head), needs to be painted, but it looks good. I was going to use the pilots head on Joe coltons chest and arms...that's a possibility still....I didn't count on totally liking these figures the way they are. I always hated the Joe Colton head, even though I never saw it in person. I don't know, there's something about the vintage look and how cripy clean the figure is. The Action Pilot was from a Hong Kong seller, same deal though, didn't expect a nice paint job, they look good! The pilot looks like he would be right at home on the deck of the USS Flagg, wait stop it! Just stop it!!!

TRU sale on GI JOE packs, 2 pack $9.99, 3 packs $14.99 (stores only, not online, IIRC) Picked up Steel Brigade vs. Iron Grenadier.
No Gung-Ho packs or Rock Viper/Alpine/Shock trooper ones in stock, of course.
Spirit vs Storm Shadow seems to be dud of the wave, also that Blue Dusty/Bazooka/Firefly set.
