Funny, because so many of the kickstarters barely reach any stretch goals and they are adding more.

Big companies play it safer now. It's about sheer profit. They play pc stuff like "we are making more Rey and Leias" but really, getting past leading ladies, minor female characters in action figure toys aimed at kids are still rare. We won't be getting Rogue One Mon Mothma anytime soon! Hasbro makes females in Marvel 6" but that's mainly a collector line.

Is the elf army builder supposed to be female or just slender?

I figured out boobs = female, lol!!! Those slender bodies do look rather feminine. I think Onion Head is actually supposed to be a dude now.

So far, from the 2.0 wave, the only must haves for me are:
Jjuno, the two female Orcs, Lord Aydon Elf, and Azza. That's like a quarter out of the whole wave. I like that I can cherry pick from the line and not feel like I'm missing key characters. It's all optional :-)

There's about 4 others I might get; Malachi, Gwendolyyne, Boarrior, and Calavius.

Yeah...I thought the elf was male but then noticed the elf shared parts with the female vamp army builder.

So, Leopard Knight now has a tail, or he had one and I never noticed.

The Elf Legion Builder will now come with three heads! Black male, white male, and full helmet.

There's an Elf Ranger on the way that looks like Legolas...hopefully he doesn't have green skin.

Early look at Super 7's MOTU stuff. SPOILERS



Making mini-comic green Trap Jaw part of a con exclusive 3-pack seems kinda irritating, because I'd think there was more demand for him than the other two figures in the set (maybe that's their thinking, though). The other 3 pack is based on Mattel concept art kitbashes from the end of the vintage line. Surprisingly no white Ninjor.

Proper filmation Hordak and Teela. Man-At-Arms and Tri-Klops were given, but where's Mer-Man? Surprised no cartoon Stratos to go with Hawke. That might not be everything for the year, though.

Lack of army builders so far.

Vintage-vintage style figures!! Including He-Ro, Eldor and She-Ra...what? Does that mean they got the She-Ra license? If it were me, I'd make more characters that were unmade in the 80's line, like Marlena, before so many animated versions.

I can see SUper7 getting to do SHe-Ra figures easily....probably not much of a stretch for them to acquire the license.

I will be getting the female Hawke/Delora, Filmation Hordak and Teela.

I still prefer my custom Hordak head. Mine has the more mechanical look, rather than Super7's organic....I DO like both though. Plus I will need that figure for the body. Super7's Hordak looks really great

I'll probably pass on Man-At-Arms and Tri-Klops because I prefer the Classics versions...I may change my mind on this down the road, we'll see.

Nice to see Filmation continuing, I hope they do a better He-Man at some point, the first version was terrible...just terrible.

I'll probably end up passing on a lot of the stuff they announced.
It's not Super7's fault, I've just managed to collect what I really want out of this line already.


Mythic Legions Elf Ranger looks pretty cool...like a more manly Legolas

The Goblins look good too. One of them, with the blue hood, looks a lot like the Advanced D&D Zarak.

Saw actual pictures of the 80's style figures. She-Ra with the useless Teela-style left arm. She doesn't look like the animation. Chubby face.

The 3 3/4" MOTU figures are still terrible, more so than they should be.

The Mythic Legions helmeted goblin looks like a better army builder than the unhelmeted builder one. It makes no sense head to toe armor and no helmet. I don't think of Goblins as wearing much armor, though, so they all look off to me.

Will they reach the "sexy" female skeleton soldier. LOL.

I see Teela and Delora have no waist swivel, bummer. Not a deal breaker, but c'mon.

I really don't want two of every figure, to have a Classics and/or Mini-Comic version, PLUS a Filmation version. I feel like in general the Classics figures look better...but there's some Filmation stuff I just won't be able to pass on.

The 3 3/4 figures are crap. I don't even like most of the art for the cards. Which is weird because some of the original artwork I absolutely love...

It seems the MOTU filmation and classics will be sold via preorders in groups of 4. Ouch. The idea is that some characters will be less popular and wouldn't even warrant be made because so few folks would preorder them individually. In the case of filmation, selling the ones you don't want will probably be no biggie, but for the classics?

The 4 figure purchase system isn't much of a stretch from Mattels old subscription system.

It does suck since I just want Hawke/Delora. Now I have to get Quake and Fangor....I don't mind adding Lodar though.
Proof this is a bad way to sell these things, two of the figures in this set have multiple heads. I may have got extra figures of them to display both heads, now I won't. Whatever.

Filmation wave, that's an easy purchase I can live with.

There's not much in the way of toys I'm interested in getting anymore, so if I have to get a set to get the figures I want, I can live with it. However, since there's not much more that interests me, it shouldn't matter too much. They have to really wow me with some toys, maybe if they pick from the FWOOSH

When all is said and done with all the new Mythic Legions figures, I'll probably just get a few Elves

With individual preorders, if 300 people preorder Hawke, and only 50 people preorder Quake...that'll make them not bother with new adventures characters again. I think the villains from that line are neat, and got Optikk and Hoove from some closeout place in the early 90's even though I didn't collect "new adventures"

They'll be wise to keep future ultimates individual preorders, especially if they reissue Horde Trooper.

Optikk is actually on my want list, he seems like he fits in with the live action movie sci-fi aspect to me, and I still want those figures from the movie like Blade and Saurod. They're just farther down my want list. I need Orko, Trap-Jaw, Mer-Man, Modulok, Ninjor and Buzz-Off first.

I'm weird, I want maybe two Horde Troopers (whenever/if they get rereleased)...only because I feel obligated to get them, just for being a fan. Even as a kid those guys were just not very exciting to me. I would rather army build Buzz-Saw Hordak as a standard trooper....I do hope those Hover Robots pop up again though.

The mini-comic three pack and prototype three packs I'm not even thinking about. Just doesn't interest me.
