So, I pledged for the Mythic Legions Kickstarter...
I plan on getting:
Lord Aydon Elf Ranger (x3) Elf Weapons Pack Jjuno Dwarf King Snagg (The Goblin with the blue hat) Malachi
Some stuff I was debating about until the last minute lol;
Artemyss...I like her, but those horns are too big. She would have a hard time moving her head...it's too unnatural...which is saying a lot for this line.
I was almost sold on the Elf Legion Builder, but I hate the helmet they gave them.
The Dwarves, I would love to get the six pack (or two) of these guys with the bearded one as the squad leader, but I can wait till 2018 when they actually go on sale.
I actually like all the goblins they did, but the same deal with the dwarves, I can wait.
Myria Goldenbranch (AKA Green Skinned Female Elf), I would like her, but with the wings from Artemyss...and painted like leaves...custom job = pass. I bet they offer the wings separately later on anyway.
Female Orcs, hard to pass, but I will get them when they go on sale.
Azza, I'll pick her up too, but later.
Anything that involved a skeleton I passed on. I prefer the previously released ones.
The Fan Choice, ugh that looks terrible, nice way to screw up a figure...I don't know what they were going for, but it looks bad.
*********************
ALl in all, I'm pretty happy with my choices :-)

Super 7 says the MOTU ultimates are delayed because tooling for some accessories was damaged or lost and had to be recreated. Nice job taking care of your stuff, Mattel.

I think when you break down what Mattels MOTU department was like, there was one guy in America dealing with a very small and very old factory in China, and probably used child labor to make the toys. That's what I think the reality of it was. Now, it's like 4 guys in America dealing with a very small and very old factory in China and probably uses child labor to make the toys.
I cancelled my Ultimates.

I think they planned to release this a while back, but their company is so screwed up that some things slipped through the cracks. This is one of them. I would say the other is the Roton. I mean that thing went on sale with their store having like one week left open. Rumor has it that there's a warehouse full of 6000 Rotons because that was the number that was listed as "in stock" when it was available.
I could see myself getting a couple Horde Troopers, just to have, but as I've said before, this figure never did it for me, even in the cartoon. Too much like a Storm Trooper.
I wouldn't worry about it, I bet Super7 will make a Filmation Horde Trooper that will look better too.
I also wouldn't expect a quality product from Mattel. After my Thunderkittens incident, and crappy Evil Lyn paint jobs, I'm glad there's another company handling the line. When you pay a premium price for a figure you expect things like eyes to be painted correctly. Granted, a Horde Trooper doesn't really have eyes, but I'm sure there's something they would find to mess up. Kind of also why I started to lean towards Mythic Legions.

So anyone who buys the MOTUC wave can then buy individuals of specific characters, like Hawke. That's a bit more sensible of them, though still frustrating. I also don't understand the appeal of over-priced blind boxed figures.

I might get the next two waves. I canceled the Ultimates because I really don't believe the advertised picture for Teela is what will be delivered. I think Teela will come with the exact same heads as the other versions and the same paint. I could be wrong, but I want to see a review first. Everything else I have from the Ultimates wave, except an original Skeletor...I may have to get that one....I just feel like the Filmation version nails it, and having more than one Skeletor...is unnecessary. Somehow I have two Beastmans though...maybe I do need two Skeletors, AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I hope they do figures of the Twiggets and Trollans, I couldn't say no to that :-)

It won't let me add the Horde Trooper to cart, even though the site says "Limited Quantities". Not surprised either. Super7 will make a Filmation one, and it will look better. This one honestly looks too much like the original toy, not enough of an improvement IMO.
I actually like the troopers from the live action movie (on hoverboards) better.
And yeah, most of the items on their site were listed as "no longer available" as soon as they put them up. I'd rather have Hover Robots than Horde Troopers too.

Okay, RIGHT NOW, you can order Hover Bots, Horde Troopers, Rotar and Twistoid, Spirit of Greyskull, Despara, even the Battle Ram is only $30 lol!
Most of it says "backordered till June", but still, those are some hard to find items...Horde Troopers, limit 10.

I'm debating how much stuff I should try and get here...I know I've said I would only bother getting two Horde Troopers in the past, but knowing how rare they are, this is kind of tempting.
Never cared for Despara, the mask is too dark for my tastes, but unmasked is a cool figure....so maybe.
Rotar and Twistoid, I don't get what the hype is about these guys except that they're rare. Never had them as a kid, they do look kind of cool though.
Battle Ram for $30 is hard to pass up...so is Spirit of Grayskull.
Hover Bots are in the cart.

No Goat Man?
Thought about ordering stuff to resale later, but that never works. LOL. I'd open something and then like it and this line is the wrong scale and too rich for me.
I still have a big box of hasbro's DTC GI JOE clearance from like 2006-2007, MIB vehicles and MOC figures/comic packs.
They need to practically give the MOTU mini 2-packs away, because that idea flopped and won't be back. Instead, they are $20.

Wise man. Toys aren't really what I'm into right now, but then all of a sudden, Horde Trooper is in stock! What?!
Goat-Man is like Rotar and Twistoid to me. I like it, just not enough.

So, I finally started watching She-Ra :-) Yes, I collect the toys, but have never watched an episode. It's on Netflix, so why not? I'm 10 episodes in, based on Episode specific characters, they need to make
Axe-Man: Very pale dude who chops wood for a living...in his underwear...and he likes boys...I mean he has two boys. He's also very good friends with Bow. Actually they never say he chops wood with it, just that their living depends on "the axe"...so maybe he's like a lumberjack stripper.
Red Knight: I'm sure this character will pop up again, because Angella recognized his voice as sounding familiar. He's just an all red knight. *Edit, Also, he didn't do a whole lot, he helped the Rebels, but barely, his main objective was to infiltrate the Rebels just to beat Bow in the tournament. Bow lost all of his fame, and the kids that adored him, all like the Red Knight now. Red Knight, better than Bow, deserves a figure.
Sorrowful the Dragon: A brown Dragon, almost like Granamyrr, but a forked tail and a silly face with no helmet. He's afraid of everything, but finds courage to stand up for his friends in the end. I would buy this toy if they made it.
This series is awesome, I can't wait to watch the rest :-)
