Ok, I went through Kevin Smith's Revolution.
I'd say its pretty damn good and breezes by. I remember those first 5 episodes way back when being such a slog.
Spoilers: We get lore on the 3 different staffs, Skeletor/Horde lore, and also some very nice voice acting across. William Shatner delivered, didn't just mail it in. There's slide snorts from Hordak here and there, but not overboard. There's some nice corny voice acting for c/d-listers like Rio Blast. The Adam/Teela shippers will be happy. The Technomagic He-Man is very much inspired by the CGI cartoon I think. Keldor/Skeletor was misled into believing he dimensional demon like what happened in Classics (the Demo-Man aspect has been ditched). Skeletor is turned back into Keldor by the end which I believe happens in the CGI toon as well. And the ending has a nice cliffhanger involving someone I think you could guess.
The first season's fall always was starting on such a hyper emotional downer with so many characters being bitchy and its not til the back half 5 eps things are more easier to consume. This is MUCH better use of the IP. You are rooting for the heroes, interested in the villains different schemes and plenty chances at new action figures.

Waiting for someplace free to watch them. If anyone cares about the WWE Superstars, I find it amusing they are making Cassius Clay Muhammed Ali. Still no ladies.

That was my go-to site for years, but became a pay site a year ago or so. Now it's free again (it seems). I probably wouldn't have checked if you hadn't linked it. The one I used recently hasn't uploaded Revolution.
First episode wasn't bad. Teela's less bitchy voice. Poor Two-Bad.
Second episode, Q as the voice of Granamyr...very Trek heavy cast this season. I didn't realize Gates McFadden was the voice of Marlena now. Not crazy about Granamyr's design with the lip tendrils whatever. I'm of the "Keep it simple" camp when it comes to dragons.

Episode 3 Poor Stonedar, a character I never liked gets a semi-heroic death. Hordak is real asshole and won't even fight him. Gwildor was good casting to sound similar to the movie version. Andra is a little too fast in making Keldor's resquest. Also, how it was given out like the host, Kevin Smith's catholic background shows. Interesting.

Everyone is a little too fast with Kelder. Its been a day. Had this been a full 10 episode lot, I think we would have got scenes with the Queen/Dunken/Adam sizing Kelder up.

Yeah, I knew those were "Easter eggs" but too lazy to look them up. Episode 4: Show can't go an episode without killing a character, Hordak wins and then loses everything. It's a cliche. "I have the power...oh, lost it." "I won...for 10 minutes." I liked that Orko kicked Grizzlor, Leech and Mantenna's butts. Depowered He-Man is the other cliche. But hey, it's better than Revelations so far. Episode 5: Yeah, that's how the CGI toon ended with Skeletor depowered to Keldor. Despara...I hate that concept, not so much Adora raised by the Horde, but her wearing a mask that looks like him. I guess Hordak ain't dead. Can Skeletor do nothing right? Teela unkilled everyone who died in heaven. Yeah. Even Stonedar made it and no else in Preternia even knows who day fudge he is. Nice Monstroid cameo. I thought this was the first 5 of 10 but this is it for Revolutions? I'd say Kevin Smith redeemed himself mostly... He-Man using the word agency is so 2020's...and Andra running for an office that doesn't exist yet.[/spoilers] Not a great season for fans of the other other evil warriors. Only so much to fit in 5 episodes.

Adam is like, screw you guys, I'm going to that spooky castle to explores the secrets of Teela. LOL
I did like that Skeletor beat Hordak. He learned how to master tech/magic combined. And he is the original villain. I remember that shitty Serpentor/Cobra Commander showdown in Dragonfire and laugh.
Duncan/former Queen need to be in charge before the government is created.
Adam as the 'champion' is clearly the better place for him to be than stuck at the Castle dealing with state matters.
Luke and Kirk are now one and the same.

Callbacks to other IP: * Orko the White, of course, Lord of the Rings * Skeletor's what's in the box, S7ven * Should evil ever arise again... by Adam, Batman 89 * Magical transformation by Adam/Teela, Sailor Moon * Forgotten tech mechs that become dangerous, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Orko was white at the end of Revelations.
Evil-Lyn's "K-i-s-s..." bit. Apparently Marlena brought English to all of Eternia.
Many of the ancient techs looked off to me in terms of MOTU styling. It reminded me of a 200X episode with some ancient tech master guy.

I like that the old Horde playset was used as a training ground. Motherbord being Screech fits. You would NEVER seen a female hero dressed like this in Disney Star Wars. I did listen to an interview with one of the people involved in the show and they went into the three staffs. Zor deals with birth. Ka is life. Havoc of course, is death. None of them are in and of themselves evil or good, rather just different kinds of magic that can be used. Someone like Teela who has problems as we've seen with her emotions of course would need training with Ka. An excellent adaption of one of my favorite bits of MotU lore, the taking of Adora. Notice the little dolls on the floor. Thought this was one of the better adaptions of Keldor/Skeletor. No Demo Man stuff. Hordak is looking for a patsy to yield the havoc staff. Simple. He's gonna hear some stuff soon enough between his nephew and Teela. LOL I'd be very tempted to buy this version of Teela. First ever animated kiss between Adam and Teela?

My first exposure to Hordak was the minicomics and he was a magic user. So...I dunno. I see why they went with the tech since Filmation had him transform into things.
It's odd whenever the have the Horde in these new things, it's the original MOTU toy members but Modulok is absent, like he's the fifth Beatle.
The powers of magic made Adam and Teela's hair grow longer. But not Adam/He-Man's beard. Can he even grow one?

Facial hair is generally a sign of age for men in fiction. Rarely will a lead character on a tv show have it. Politicians usually don't have facial hair.
