According to a member over on the Mattel Creations forums who actually chatted with a Walmart rep this morning, Walmart+ members actually get early access to these sales and cons. This would certainly somewhat explain why there was literally no stock left for the general public and why it says 1000+ sold since yesterday for each figure.

So it's really not a Collector Con, it's Walmart+ Member Con, isn't it?

Yeah, their strategy has always been to go into a small town, open up a store.

Then lower the prices of everything below what you can get anything in town for.

Run out all of those businesses, and then raise the prices.

When then town is sucked dry, close store location.

They are literally an infiltrate and destroy corporation.

I liked Sy-Klone for a brief period as a kid.

But honestly, he led me back to Faker.

Isn't Sy-Klone supposed to be an alien?

Since I hate alien space stuff now, easy for me to pass.

I would have to pretend he is a time traveler instead.

The blue skinned people are Gar, a separate but biological compatible race with humans. Except Faker, he's a robot.

200X cartoon Sy-Klone was the last guardian of some lost temple or something.

I don't recall his vintage origins at all.

One such storybook, the Golden Books Hardcover series book "I Have the Power", gives him an origin story, explaining he was once a circus acrobat called 'the human tornado' who was turned into a cyborg by Skeletor's mechano-ray, which also turned a giant spider into Skeletor's Spydor vehicle. In the UK range of comics produced by London Editions he was an athlete called Dash-Shel from the alien world of Snave, who came close to death after being injured in an assault by the Evil Horde. His father, who was a scientist, saved his life by regenerating him into the cyborg form of Sy-Klone, and after driving the Horde from Snave, he left for Eternia to help the Masters in their war against the Horde. This comic series presents him as brave and daring, but also brash and exuberant, often annoying his comrades by boasting and occasionally rushing headlong into danger. Another comic potrayed him as less brash, immediately appearing before King Randor when summoned and dutifully giving a message to Prince Adam, who had forgotten it.

Thing with Masterverse, is they keep redoing characters...and I get striking while the Revolution cartoon is hot, but...I dunno, I don't collect it.

Green sorceress Teela...just a reminder of how all the articulation ruins the natural look of smooth flesh.
Makes me think humans aren't designing toys anymore.
