Yeah, using a different actor for Flash in Justice League...was just a bad idea...I think Snyder just wanted to make it very clear, his universe is different from the rest.
Superman and Lois...I'll have to check it out Bravo, thanks!
Night Court, I used to watch...there's one episode where they all do I.Q. tests, and Bull scores the highest and everyone is shocked. He gets a score of 181, and but then realizes he's reading it upside down (there's a very brief moment of relief from everyone)...but his score is still 181, lol :-)
Never watched too many episodes of Batman the Animated series...I didn't have TV during most of those years. But I always thought the animation looked pretty good.
Daredevil is a great series. Karen's a little too emotional all the time, but I still liked her. My ONLY complaint with the series is when Punisher is injured, the make-up they used...looks like make-up...probably they used too bright of lighting for those scenes too or something. I would say the prison fight scene more than makes up for it :-)
Thanks for reminding me about Stargirl guys! I need to check that one out too!

Flash Season 2, just started...White Firestorm is already replaced by Black Firestorm. Firestorm was a favorite back from the cartoon "Super Powers". Go ahead CW, trash my childhood memories some more.
I'm starting to see why Bravo quit watching the Flash lol.

I more or less stuck with it until early this current season. But for sometime before, i'd half-ass watch it and if I missed an episode, would not go back to watch it.
Firestorm leaves for Legends of Tomorrow, then both actors eventually leave that show and no more Firestorm in CW "Arrowverse". It struck me as another "we want to do this character, but don't know what to do with him long term", something the the Arrowverse did a lot.

There is an aspect of that show that really starts to bother me and its the repeats of Harrison Wells, as some of them are VERY dumb and annoying.

I've never heard of Zoom before.
The original Flash looks really stupid with that helmet, not a good look...even if it is based on the original.
Without the helmet, pretty cool though.
Firestorms new counterpart seems to call the Professor "Grey" even though he specifically asked to be called, "Professor". What a jerk. But the Professor seems like a jerk too. I liked Ronnie. At least they gave Firestorm the right guy in the beginning.
Dr. Well's seems like he is based on Bill Gates.

Just wrapping up season 2 of Flash...not sure if I will continue the series. They brought white Firestorm back from Earth 2 briefly, but he's evil now, and they killed him again. 2 seasons in, I'm pretty sure they killed white Firestorm at least three times.
I think it's time to find something else to watch, or just unplug...at least from the super-hero channels.

Well, I'll say this, Firestorm, in grand scheme of things, is a footnote in Flash tv show.

Saw The Batman with a movie watching group I'm apart of.
It's biggest flaw is it is sooo long. But it's definitely good. Batman has a story arch, going from vengeance to hope. Him helping at the end with rescue efforts felt like something out of the comics. Riddler is very good. Its nice to see him get a big screen adaptation that is more credible than Jim Carry. There is some wokeness in it, but its not too bad.
One thing I've noticed in Batman is reoccurring plot beats: Alfred bitches to Bruce about his family legacy. Catwoman has to learn to be selfless. Gotham the city is put in danger.
The final act with Riddler's flood plan felt a bit out of place in what the movie had been up to that point.
Oh and I'd also say, visually, this Catwoman kind of reminds me of Frank Miller Catwoman.
I give it 3 1/4 stars out of 4. Very good. It would be at the top of my Batman rankings.
1 Dark Knight 2 Batman Returns 3 The Batman 4 Batman 5 The Dark Knight Rises 6 Batman Begins 7 Batman Forever 8 Batman and Robin
Its been quite a while since I've seen Batman 66, and I'll keep the lego stuff out of this.

You can watch the first 10 minutes on youtube free. I thought it was odd street criminals recognized the bat signal, but the Joker themed (?) gang didn't seem to know who Batman was.
Maybe I'll see the whole movie someday.
It feels odd I didn't see it at cinema, since I saw every live action Batman film, Joker aside, at theaters beside the 1966 movie.

Obi show on Disney Plus.
There's a lack of craftmanship with the script. It is very on the nose. Characters explain things, speak in ways that are clunky and unconvencing.
Music doesn't feel like Star Wars.
Special Effects and direction... really reminds me of sort of a 90s syndicated tv show.
OBi isn't as dumb as Boba is in his series. There is some stuff in it I think prequal fans will like.
Typical 2 star mushy in the middle entertainment.

Still sounds like mostly crap on a stick. I already read spoiler reviews because I won't be watching anytime soon and don't care that much since it's a prequel. I kinda want Disney Star Wars to die in a fire.

I'm 3 episodes into Stranger Things season 4. Its really leaning into 80s horror. The direction is so much better than Obi. Scripts too. Its doing an excellent job building dread.
Both shows ended up putting content warning on their programing in the wake of the texas school shooting.

Well, Obi ep3 is bad.... VERY bad. It calls into question/damages coninuity in ANH and there's some very bad acting in this episode. It leans in heavily with nostalgia bait, but if you are going to do it, at least do that well. This has the stink of modern CW tv on it. Even Lucas writing at its worst still had stakes, still had intruging situations, still had interesting characters. This show has nothing, not one thing I can point to. Man, what has happened to star wars?

I saw enough clips. So bad. And it's sad there's people falling for this junk. "OMG. VADER IS SO EEEEVIL" James Earl Jones voice...but people are saying it's basically artificially generated now.
They are going to bury the franchise in half-arsed drivel. I mean...not going to, they are doing it.
There's a fantasy element from the Lucas movies they can't replicate. I don't mean force powers, but style and story telling. They've reduced the universe to a b-grade sci-fi adventure with 'member berries stringing along the hopelessly devoted. And I doubt they are building a new younger fanbase here.
