They bend and twist so much so raynera doesn't look bad, but its two factions of the same 'family' buying for the same claim. The show wants her to be grrl boss when it was and should simply be a story about mutually assured destruction.

So. Tales of the Empire, really Tales from the Dark Side but they couldn't use that, came out last year but the cartoon site didn't get it until recently. It's modern Star Wars, so GIRL BOSSES AND RETCONS. Male lead characters? Who needs 'em? Not Dave Filoni. The first 3 short episodes are about Morgan Elsbeth from AHSOKA. And I should care about her because??? Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Episode 1 The Path of Fear - Morgan Elsbeth's a night sister who survives the separatist attack on their world and is taken in by some peaceful mountain tribe...with predictable results. Gets a point for Grievous appearance, because he looks better compared to modern SW. 5/10 Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Episode 2 The Path of Anger - Years later she's a girl boss magistrate and trying to make deals with the Empire. Oh, she came up with the TIE DEFENDER. MY ASS, SHE DID. Admiral Thrawn shows up and sees her potential after the Moff whoever scoffs at her ideas and says they'll just take over her star system anyway. Who cares about any of this? What does it add to anything other than a needless stupid retcon? 4/10 Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Episode 3 The Path of Hate - Post Empire and a former resident of this multi-species planet is a New Republic rep and is a full-blown idiot who threatens to arrest Morgan and gets herself and her crew killed. It's you guessed it, predictable and a big so-freaking-what? 4/10 The next three are about ex-Jedi Bariss Offee and her becoming an Inquistor then quitting, making her two or three times a traitor. I lost count. Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Episode 4 Devoted - Bariss is spared execution by the Empire, which is questionable because the clones were compelled to kill even Darth Maul and ex-Jedi Ahsoka in the final The Clone Wars story. But anyway, she's offered, along with 2 male losers to become an Inquistor. With predictable results. Get a point for Jason Issacs back as Grand Inquistor. 5/10 Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Episode 5 Realization - Bariss's first mission (i guess) with a GIRL BOSS Inquistor "sister" goes with predictable results. Bariss can't abide the ruthlessness of the Empire/Inquisition and turns on GIRL BOSS. Oh, and they find a lone Jedi in hiding who they refer to as THEY, even though it looks like a guy and how the hell would they know the Jedi's pronouns in the first place? Come the fudge on, in a Galaxy Far, Far Away they have 21st century pronoun crap? 4/10 Star Wars: Tales of the Empire Episode 6 The Way Out - Somehow GIRL BOSS survived and happens up Barriss years later. Barriss is now a local healer on some easy to animate world with no real vegetation and limited supporting characters. They spent the money making fur blow in the wind. Barriss and I can't remember her name have a final confrontation with PREDICTABLE RESULTS. 4/10 So you have 6 short stories in two arcs that don't tell us much about the Empire other than they are stupid and arrogant. Which we knew in 1977. Both are FORCE user centric because that and Mandos are all that matter now. Finishing Barriss Offee's story had merit, but it still seems open ended. Yeah, spoiler, who cares. She may or may not be dead in the last part. Knowing, Filoni, she's ALIVE and will appear again.

Futurama Season 9 Episode 9 The Futurama Mystery Liberry - Levar Burton is the framing guest host for a trilogy of parodies that are well, just okay. Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys, Tin-Tin (which isn't well known in the USA) and Encyclopedia Brown. Some funny bit. Almost loses a point for Neil DeGrasse-Tyson guest appearance at the end. 6/10
Futurama Season 9 Episode 10 Otherwise - Ties into the finale of the Comedy Central run. Planet Express ship damaged and set to be take to graveyard of ships. Makes no sense, but whatever. Fry has visions of the previous series finale. It's decent, but honestly I still can't rate if even about a 6/10. Because the show is still just spinning its wheels. Yeah, minor spoiler, the ship is back and running by the end. There's no real change to the status quo and the writing is so subpar from it 90's run that it's a shadow of its greatness. 6/10

I never saw the entirely of the original, but i hear Joker 2 (i'm not typing that french crap) is terrible and craps all over the first movie. I've read/listened to spoilers, I don't care that much, like I said...I've never bothered to watch all of the first one, but the impression is the original wasn't in-line with Hollywood's politics so this has to be an atonement.

Hm. It comes down to some people wanting Joker (the character) persona non grata in adapted media. Granted, the character is over exposed, but he is popular as well. But some woke fools think the IP is 'toxic.'
Joker 1 is basically the broken man trope, the failings of urban areas to address mental health, the smug rich. Portraying Thomas Wayne not as this saintly figure was a breath of fresh air. I liked Joker 1. Can't speak on Joker 2. Performance in Joker 1 outpaces the script.
--- I did see Deadpool and Wolverine. I'd say... its fine. Easily my least favorite of Deadpool movies. The cast from the prior movies are reduced to glorified cameos.
Deadpool at one point shits on multiverse impacting MCU's quality post Endgame, but this movie is more of that stuff, sooo?
Lady Deadpool, played by Ryan Reynolds' wife, Blake lively, sexy. Probably the most overt sex appeal since Black Widow's early MCU stuff for Marvel. But she's only around briefly.
So, Wolverine acting as the straight man to Deadpool. Its fine, but and I might be in the minority, it has been done better by other characters in prior movies.
Deadpool goes through his typical beats: Has to learn to be a hero to save the life of his gf in movie 1. Has to learn to be a hero to save the humanity of a kid in movie 2. Has to learn to be a hero to save his world in movie 3.
Really, the bright spot for me Cassandra Nova, a shame she couldn't go up against X-Men proper. Very fairy tale like performance. Nice almost sing along reading of her lines. Ah ethereal, other worldly quality to her, but given they want to lean in on Wade and Logan, her screen time is limited.
The movie does end with the something something, things, worlds, time, reality, whatever could be destroyed unless techno babble is done.
X-23 is nice to see and all the alt forms of Wolverine at the beginning of the movie.
Probably, for me, 2 1/2 stars out of 4, but I'm sure its a crowd pleaser for most, so by that measure, 3 out of 4.

Woke hollywood just wants to destroy joker, probably because his solution was to kill a mainstream media star. We are living in clown world, so I don't need Joker 2. And I had a hard time watching Joker 1, just because of the scenes with his mom. I don't plan on ever watching Joker again. But I am kind of over the batman franchise anyway. There was a video a dude exposed Batman is in the illuminate, his father actually founded skull and bones.... The mansion in batman begins is actually a rothchild mansion. He just likes to beat people up at night. Joker is right, they are no different, except Joker isn't part of the illuminate. Then there is this...

I'll try to sum up the rings of power season 2 finale...
Sauron takes control of the uruks...big surprise.
Galadriel and Sauron have a duel...she has a Luke Skywalker moment and falls off a cliff after being stabbed in the chest.
She's totally fine BTW, in case anyone was worried.
And Sauron took the 9 rings for men from her.
GO SAURON!
Retarded Gandalf has a duel with the dark wizard...which he wins very easily...because he is using the beginners guide? Gets his staff, and the black folk, I mean the hobbits, I mean the homeless people, they are actually called harfoots I think...they call him "Grand Elf"...I think we can figure out how he gets his name.
The good black numenor queen is overthrown. Her captain, who is Isildur's father, goes off on his own because he's out of the job. Oh, and Isildur's love interest just didn't work out...bummer.
Dwarf king digs too deep and wakes up the balrog. He takes off his ring and charges at it.
So now, with mad dwarf king dead, the dwarves are able to help the elves that were defeated by the uruks.
Dwarf kings son is the next heir, but his brother is challenging his claim to the throne.
I honestly can't imagine a season 3. It really felt like they tried to tie things up the best they could.

The Walking Dead: Dead City
Short spin off, Negan and Maggie go to New York to try and save her son.
Worth the watch, just for Negan.
I am left wondering why the heck the last 5 years I havenĀ“t collected zombie fighting weapons.
Time to rethink my collection.

Seems unlikely, but humans have a twisted way of making the unlikely, even horrific things, possible. I watched a movie The Medusa Touch on the free broadcast Movies channel, I read after watching Roger Ebert said it was the worst movie of 1978 or something. It's a murder mystery, except it turns out the victim isn't dead, just really messed up. It's better if you go in blind like I did. The title is confusing, no one turns to stone. Richard Burton's character can create disasters with his mind. He's like a telekinetic mutant or something...not 100% explained. I thought later, Burton would've been a good Magneto I found it rather engaging. An interesting product of its time, however one scene was intriguing a passenger plane collides with a skyscraper....remember this is 1978...23+ years before 9/11 And been watching Star Trek Lower Decks 5th season. It's okay, compared to the current live action crap, it's somewhat closer to vintage Trek, if comical.
