Ep2 this morning, alot of stuff is very familiar to me, Storm losing powers, Nathan Summers born, trail of Magneto... all taken from the comics. Its as I said, X-Men stuff. If you like X-Men, you will like it, if not, you won't. I do like the idea of Morph using different xcharacter forms. He can be a brute, he can be a ninja, etc.
So, I'm sure they'll do Madelyne Pryor stuff and the baby being infected with techno virus and having to be sent to the future to save him.

The action figure tie in already leaked Goblin Queen or whatever. Because I think the debut of the show was originally intended for last fall.

X-Men '97 episode 3: May I have your attention, please? May I have your attention, please? Will the real Jean Grey please stand up? I repeat Will the real Jean Grey please stand up? We're gonna have a problem here...
Y'all act like you never seen a cloned mutant before Jaws all on the floor like Scott, like Real Jean just burst in the door And started Logan covetin' her ass worse than before Then clone Jean got scary, throwin' around the furniture (Agh!) It's the return of Sinister "Oh, wait, no way, you're kidding He didn't just say what I think he did, did he?" And Professor X said Nothing, you idiots, Professor X's dead, he's rottin' in the basement (Ha-ha!)

Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 8: Harbinger - Special guest Asajj Ventress, who isn't all that fun or interesting. But being a near-total b-tch who can beat up men, makes her ideal for a Disney female. Does Omega have force potential, of course. Does she show it here? Not really. Does a big monster show up? OF COURSE. Can't go 3 episodes without one. Oh, this one's a sea monster.
5/10

X-Men 97 ep4, Mojo insanity, puts Jubilee and Sunspot in his video game, which is a riff on the old X-Men video games. ITs Jubilee's 18th birthday, of course, the lesson is, life is a risk, unlike video games which are loops. At the end, Jubilee kisses Sunspot, she lights up because she's horny, they fall to the bed as it does the classic fade out, so Jubilee loses her v-card on her birthday, good for her lol.
The b-plot is Forge/Storm straight from the comics.
Good fluffy episode, depends on how much you like Mojo insanity contrasted by the heavy meledrama of Storm/Forge and yes, a demon. LOL
The lore of X-Men is great, so I like it.

X-Men '97 episode 4: It was fine. The actual video game style bits were amusing, but I see why they didn't overused them. Sunspot still holding back his powers, though. If they'd gone to the arcade, then Arcade would be the villain. If they had Forge in the movies, he'd be played by Danny Trejo...well, 10+ years ago. He's kinda old now. The opening credits change, maybe every episode? Bishop is no longer a featured named player for example.
Score: 6 or 7/10 I guess.

The show has actually been very good about adapting straight from the comics, for example:

Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 10: Identity Crisis - The Bad Batch don't appear. Not even the hangers on like Captain Rex. It's all about the female clone doctor Karr. She develops a conscience. Whoop-dee-do. Cad Bane appears. Because we can't have a female bounty hunter kidnapping force sensitive kids, can we? Bad arse Cad Bane stunning mothers and stealing kids. How kewl. 6/10 Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 10: Point of No Return - Bad guys find out where Bad Batch be at. Bad Batch fails to escape. Omega surrenders to save local population. Omega right back to being prisoner... Holy rinse and repeat! Somehow...somehow two episode pass without a giant monster. But isn't the Empire the biggest monster of them all? 6/10

Rewatched Daredevil netflix series.
SPOILERS!
Thoughts on Wilson Fisk...
Kingpin is really Jeffery Epstein. His wife Vanessa is Ghislaine Maxwell.
I mean, he is even into human trafficking and kidnapping young girls and boys.
Second season is kind of gory with the Hand's zombie experiments.
Punisher has the best line. It's when he and Karen are hanging out at a diner and she realizes the Punisher used her for bait to lure her attackers in close. She says, "You are such an asshole."
Punisher responds, "Yeah. You got that right."
Third season, how they did Bullseye is fantastic. Black & white memories, and his black & white apartment...details like this are important.

X-Men 97 episode 5
Spoilers:
This episode is about Magneto, Gambit and Rogue. The b-plot is Scott and his trauma regarding his son making him more militant in belief to humans. Honestly, the episode, I won't reveal much, but it is the kind of stuff MCU should have been doing post-Endgame. There are big things that happen, Rogue makes a choice, but then there's another shoe that drops at the last third of the episode it just goes all out.
Probably the best Marvel adapted material certainly beats all live action stuff since Endgame.

It was good, with some nitpicks. All those mutants and only the 3 X-Men seemed to be fighting back. (Night Crawler isn't much of a fighter.) So Shaw and White Queen were taken out initially, knocked out whatever. Archangel, do something, you jerk. And the X-Men watching on tv, instead of already headed to Genosha, seemed off. Even in 1997 news got out faster than that, I think.
I would not want to be the mutant with see-through skin.

Some mutants don't really have offensive powers. Some aren't trained to fight. Certainly not that terror. The Jet was taken by Magneto and the battle only lasts during the evening. Its over quick once Gambit lights it up.
Glob Herman. Think he was created to show how a mutation could visually alter you big time. Not everyone become stunningly beatiful like White Queen or whoever.

I guess they only have one quin-jet...er... fully fueled Night Raven...Blackbird. Most wouldn't be fighters, true. But when you see cameos by the likes of Archangel and Banshee and well, not so much Multiple Man, gotta wonder. But it would be funny if some mutant we've never seen just unleashed hell. Oh, and the ending. I like how internet hype videos are like Is Magneto dead? Really, they call out Leech by name and he's next to Mags. It doesn't take a genius to figure that he nullified Mags' powers so grand-master-flash-mold no longer detected the Omega Level threat.

When I lived on Guam in the early 90's, it took about one week for tv to catch up to us....sometimes 2 weeks. So, the news was one week late, ect. When a major event happened, we would find out about it fairly soon, like when Kurt Cobain died/was murdered, we knew about it, because someone would find out from someone stateside over the phone, and pass the word around. I really wish I had recorded some of the things I saw on Guam TV, the commercials were HILARIOUS, because they would try to copy ones from the USA. The Sunny Delight one was my favorite. When the kids opened the refrigerator to find something to drink, and they are trying what to decide, all the other drinks were pushed all the way to the sides of the fridge, with sunny D, right in the middle by itself. The kids had to debate for a minute what to drink, and then see Sunny Delight at the end. "We got uh...purple stuff, OJ, soda...SUNNY D!" One news program, was just some old dude literally reading the newspaper The Crest commercial I got a kick out of, because I knew like 3 kids who were in that commercial. Everything was off on these remakes, the acting wasn't so great, the audio and video quality was poor, like a home movie production. Anyway, the whole point of this post was about X-men watching tv.

Rewatched Batman 1989.
Batman kills at least 4 guys when he remote operates the Batmobile to go to the Jokers factory and blows it up.
Joker killing Bruce Waynes parents scene is pretty violent, and he points the gun at him too.
Best Batmobile ever. Bat-wing is pretty neat too.
