Wow those things are bizarre. I'm not sure if he's behind some of these, at this point. Because all he seems to be promoting are Storm Shadow and Steel Brigade repaints now.

I do like the visor and eye in the Soundwave and Shockwave BATs though.

Eel Vipers? Wow! Hope "Red Laser" got his heads to turn (Hasbro's CG heads couldn't swivel because they couldn't be bothered to give a damn about vintage style ARAH releases beyond what money they could milk from them.) They got the proper legs, waist and gear.




Desert Viper, a repaint Hasbro didn't do. Not bad looking.

Those are interesting. I'm almost tempted to get the Desert Vipers, but don't really care for the removable helmets. That Red Laser dude is a lot more mysterious than TBM, that's for sure.

Someone got around to making bootleg Iron Grenadiers. $15 each plus $3 shipping. Waaay too much. They look like they'll have loose swivel joints and who wanted green, red or sand colored weapons? Why can't these guys get consistent on their rivets, backwards rivets look bad.

The Crimson Iron Grenadier is dope. Colored weapons suck. I always hated how off one thigh is to the other. Same problem exists with the 1983 Destro. Guess it's just the way Grenadiers are supposed to roll, but it's weird.

I'd like to see the Crimson Guard Immortal head done on Battle Corps Cobra Commander body.

The red and the "snow serpent" one are the better ones. A red IG accidentally appears in Marvel issue, a coloring error (same issue has crimson vipers, though with blue face plates). The visor colors and the green and sand ones don't help them.

With Destro it was like he was wearing jodhpurs pants but one right thigh didn't have the flare because he's got holster strapped to it. The IG's just look like one thigh is bigger than the other, like they didn't take that into account when adding the whatever it is on their left thigh.

These are made by LETAL...whomever that is. They stamped their name on the IG's butts. Why not inner thigh?

Those look rickety as all hell. IG's are an odd choice, though the Crimson one looks fairly cool. I can't understand why they don't go to something simple that would sell, like an '83 Officer done up in red and black with the silly Red Shadow eyes, that's a thing I think would probably do really well.

Rickety...that's a good word for how they look. I didn't think IG's an odd choice, though why not remake the original? But now that I think about it, can you get a loose genuine IG for under $15...*looks on ebay*. Yes, you can. LOL.

Why has the officer been ignored? Are people that hung up on "I only need a few officers for my legions"? That was why I was able to get some cheap infantry squad leader/night watch officers back when o-ring figure prices were low. And some seller in china had comic pack officers for years at $5 a figure. (finally sold out last year...maybe).

So removable helmet Python Vipers, but they removed a lot of the yellow ops the original had, and yet no Cobra symbol like the original.


Why not do something creative and make them in the green-Python pattern, too?

Red Laser is going crazy with these customs, I mean, sheer numbers, not paints ops. There are some interesting ones, though. Skull face paint on Snake Eyes V1 heads, I guess that's what those are. Skull Squad 1983 style is something I'm surprised Black Major never did.
