I'll back it, but I'm going to do it last possible second.
Skystriker was a bad choice, for a few reasons; IE: not a COBRA item, most Joe fans are in it for figures rather than vehicles, Top Gun 2 got postponed.

None of the retro gold Eagle Force guys have made it to their goal, and there's just a few days left. Almost all the jokes and tributes have made it. The most generic action hero guy with little accessories, Declan Van Helsing or something, is closer than them.

So the Eagle Force guys all "made it" I guess. I think they fudged the numbers. You can order them in waves at BBTS (wait a year) and save 33 cents a figure by doing so. REALLY, NERD?

Spector Creative did a vid on the Rancor deal and his theory comes down to..
1. The value of the Six Inch scale is the amount of product vs 3 3/4th with the rising cost of toy production as well as the ability to mix and match different IP from other IP (such as Marvel)
2. You can't really create a full galaxy at that scale such as with the smaller scale (vehicles, monsters and so forth) as the cost/display space, so a Rancor isn't really a draw for collectors of that scale
3. If you are in you are usually in (thinks handwringing over bad stretch goals is besides the point)

So Hasbro's last effort to get Sky Striker to fund, Mickey Mouse Cobra Commander, Sunbow Trooper and Cobra Ground Crew, plus Cobra Labels for the Sky Striker. Not stretch goals but automatically included.
Yeah...HASBRO realized Cobra is what people want, but 2 troopers only available with a $200+ Go Fund Me set...is aggravating.
Cobra Commander would be a remake I'd go for. Mickey Mouse version...meh.

I'd bet 50 of those are Black Major, and other "line Cobra figures up in rows" collectors.
If they took paypal. I'd back. I don't think they do.

I just got the Xbox Series X, so it'd be tough for me to justify it.
I'm guessing Hasbro will fudge the numbers on both it and Rancor. Be pretty embarrassing for both to fail.

Rancor ended at 8,521 backers. So close. Oola not being in it doomed it. Wonder what Hasbro will do. I say they somehow get it into production.

Unfortunately, this project did not meet its backer goal and did not go into production.
They are cancelling all the backers.
Wow. I wonder what this means for Skystriker. Might motivate the hardcore 3 3/4 people tomorrow. We shall see.

I'm kind of hoping the Sky Striker strikes out. Because...I'd just want the figures. And making the Cobra part of a $230 thing means even if I forced myself to back this, I'd never open them since they will come carded and immediately shoot up in value. Just about the same as not having them at all.
